So, 24 have past. Did you got the mail/SMS that remittance have been processed?

Nope. Have sent them mail and tried contacting them through chat but no response. Have even threatened them with legal action but nothing doing. Now it is showing, due on 4th Dec, 2014.

bhai, most probably they took your account for suspicious reasons, (their are many such policies but highlighting one)
you sold something to abc address and bought something for same abc address

many users use ebay for their profits, example ebay gives 150 off on 200
then those users make a seller id and list xyz item on ebay around price of 200, then they apply / make use of ebay coupons from their other ids

i.e sold at 200, say they receive remittance of 190, they just invested 50 but got 190 back, making profit of 190 (excluding fees)

so ebay detects it as a major threat to their policies… i won’t suggest it now a days..

Be prepared, you are not going to get your money back before couple of months.
No, they are not moved by legal threats. If you can, then send them the notice straight away along with compensation for holding the amount.

And in the mean time arrange for Proof of delivery (hard copy) of the packages whose remittance is pending.
Why?because this procedure will take a long time and by next month or two, the tracking number status will be removed from the courier website.

So preserve all the stuff like proof of dispatch , proof of delivery (hard as well as snapshot in courier website), all the emails between you and that buyer as well the eBay team.

The fact is, they will enjoy your money for couple of months and if you don’t pressure them then they will not even bother to pay you. So, now you can poke them regularly after every 2-3 days for releasing the payment. Just be polite that you have not received the amount even of this date ,please remit the amount, bla bla…in the mean time, contact someone for legal help…

tushar his money is safe, as they will reactivate his remittance by next month,
they are not moved by any threats even if you commit suicide (just joking dnt take it seriously)

once we signup we agree their terms of use,their policy etc and they have right to investigate/hold his remittance

cashif , i will suggest you to wait max. 60 days

though some amount say 5-10% maybe reduced if some e guarantee claims r existing

Thanks for feedback guys but now more of my stupidity and how I lost further 19.5k (Total now 95k!).

One of my parcel was stuck in transit with firstflight courier and since it was not delivered even after 10 days, buyer contacted me and said that he will raise a claim (The parcel was lost by Firstflight guys and was finally delivered after 14 days). As I was already having trouble with ebay remittance (and didnt want further remark), I transferred back the amount he paid to ebay and requested buyer to confirm receipt of item and to refund the money when he receives the phone (my Z ultra) but now that bugger is not attending the phone and I’ve lost my bloody phone as well along with the remittance fund.

He sounded so sincere and he was from my city (Chennai) but staying in Rajasthan and he spoke so politely and I trusted him. Hard lesson learnt to never trust anyone with money but this was a Height of stupidity on part of me!!

i just dont believe how selfish a people can get. This is the reason why every courier guy is asking for photo id proof at time of delivery. those kind of people must be beaten-up and banned from buying online…

How can that guy even sleep at night doing such unethical thing !

Still no response:-{ Fourth is already passed and my remittance still stuck with these cheaters, its already 30 days past due date. Have mailed again but no response since the initial mails around 15 days back and when I call they dont respond.

Seriously thinking of approaching consumer court, anyone has ideas on how I should go about it & does it help . I mean will they take it seriously? because I dont have the time to go through the whole case just want to threaten/warn them that I am serious about it! Any other option guys?

Have thought about legal process but dont have the time/money to spend. Any idea how much an advocate will charge for drafting a letter or filing a case? And will it help??

No idea.. But I told you in beginning to forget it for few months..
Do keep all documents till you get your money. And talk to advocate. He may not charge you more than couple of thousand or try if akoska ashoka whatever it is, if they take these cases.. Go for their paid service, it will be cheaper than talking advocate directly..

After further scanning the ebay forums, I found a email id- facebook@eb…om which apparently is USA CC, so contacted them and within 3 hrs received acknowledgment and assurance that they will help me in resolving this.

I dunno whether this will be successful but dimers do use this mail id if in need as you will atleast get response. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best now!

Hi, did u get any help after writing to ebay US ?

So finally my remittance has been reactivated and received mail that the 46k will be credited to my account within 48 hrs.

However, they have refunded one of my buyers Rs. 30k (To whom I bought Screenguard as a favour) and now am supposed to get 30k from him.

Am happy and hoping that the buyer will cooperate & pay me back my money.So, do mail facebook@eb…om for any queries.
