Need some good suggestions for buying a car

I don’t have a specific budget. but I can arrange around 6.0 -7.5 lakh … (Hopefully 8 bhi jama ho sakta )

Want to gift a Car to my parents near November . Mostly it will be driven in the city (Mumbai) .

Should I go for hatchback or compact sedan ?
Baleno vs Elite i20 ?

or should I go for xcent / dzire / vw ameo or anything ?

Need some good insights. ?

Would love to have a good design , somewhat good mileage , low maintenance would be preferable .

Dont know much about the technicalities.

Stick to your preference I.e., baleno.. Don’t take the opinion of others for a preference of yours ESP when you like something and know it is good already.. Everyone will have their own viewpoint and it will just confuse you more..

Go n book one now itself so that you will get it in November.

One person made a point that Compact sedan would be better and costs the same. It got me thinking again
Ps- I cant deny that I like Elite i20 very much just bcoz of its design
But Baleno just bcoz of maruti tag (Gharwaale khush hojayengey )and something different then conventional swift design.
