No EVDO recharge on Paytm

The morons are going backwards. Used to recharge for 2 day unlimited data for Rs.55 on BSNL EDVO in case of excessive data need. Now, they have block the recharge even before payment page, ’It’s not a valid BSNL recharge’. Freecharge didn’t have the plans earlier, recharged once and got Rs.50 as balance complained to freecharge but no use.

And if choose data card there is no special recharge option coming https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif

Sorry for my silly questions..but help me as i m new to bsnl evdo..

Either should work. If you chose data card, it would automatically recharge for STV. Try with 20 for validity as a trial.

Contact seller and ask him. Couldn’t find anything regarding this modem supporting bsnl. If it doesn’t support you can raise a claim later as the seller has mentioned in his description as it supports.

Finally, after a lot of arguments with BSNL people, I today bought a CDMA card for 40 INR. Now these people told me that If I wanted EVDO, I would have to pay 350 INR activation charge for EVDO but I told them that there are no such charges as per my knowledge. So they just gave me a prepaid CDMA sim card and told me to do televerification after 2 days, following which my sim card will be activated but I won’t be able to use Internet(They said it would useless if I didn’t activate it by paying 350 INR). So I am confused as to whether they are bluffing(I strongly think so) or I will really not be able to use the net through it? Secondly, I don’t have a CDMA dongle or a CDMA mobile to do televerification. So is there any other way to do it? Please I request all dimers who read this informative thread to come forward and help me with these queries. Especially @thrifty_indian @vinaythewanted

Getting 1 piece ZTE AC 2766 locked for 700, is it possible to unlock if I buy locked data card?

I am ready to take one. Get another guy and lets buy from ebay.

Ask @Drizzles He might be interested too. Now you can buy the three dongles and share the cost between three.

Is there any separate sim for EVDO? I went to BSNL office and they are giving me normal CDMA sim? Also they are asking for 400 for CDMA sim + activation? (50+350) without any data or offer.

same thing happened with me today. I just bought cdma card for 40. Will I not be able to use EVDO network on it? Please help. What did u do?

350 Rs charges are mentioned in bsnl website. But I don’t know if they charge it currently. Will ask Bsnl CC and confirm. BTW bsnl just extended validity of my 3g pack by 1 month.

It is a false positive. I have the same files and ESET doesn’t have any problem with them.

If you want a different dashboard use this.

Those who asked for unlocking the Zte AC2766, the process is simple.

First download these softwares:
1. http://d-h....Q3
2. http://goo.gl/hdzmmJ?gdr...rl

1. Now go to device manager. Control panel>Device manager. Scroll down to ports and note down the Zte modem’s service/diagnostics com port.
2. Then open cdma workshop (first link)
>select com port of modem you noted down and click on connect.
>At the bottom it will show a message “connected to com port successfully”
3. Go to security tab
4. Enter ‘spc code’ 000000 (six zeros) in the box just above the ‘read button’ and Click on ‘send spc’. You will see a message “spc is correct phone unlocked”
5. Go to ‘other’ tab> ruim config> select ‘R-UIM if avail’ from the drop down menu and click ‘write’. You will get a success message.
6. Open ‘Zte unlocker’ software (second link).
7. Again select the same com port you used in CDMA workshop and click on ‘write’. It will ask for ‘spc’ use 000000 (six zeroes) and click ‘ok’. You should see message: write min limit success
8. If you get error msg: ‘write min limit failed’ then reconnect the modem and try again from beginning.

Yes USSD as well as calling is supported in the dashboard. I use ‘*123’. But it takes 10-15 trials to get connected once.

BSNL personnel are not well versed with their own services and rules. Hence, all round the country you would find different rules for the same kind of service.
