I would request you to make a [sticky] Chat Thread in Dost and Dimes section.
This will make the place more interactive and friendlier.
It is not sensible to create a new thread just to say hi/hello and it is a REAL PAIN chatting with someone through the PM box.

@Spock Can’t speak for the early period. But, if I remember correctly, the details about the thread vote ups has always been this way since I joined (Q4 2014). We do get notified for who likes our posts. But if someone is inclined, he can indeed get the details of the thread up votes by checking the dashboard. 
I agree with your observation about the lack of detail in the feeds about which deal was added by a channel operator.
