I would request you to make a [sticky] Chat Thread in Dost and Dimes section.
This will make the place more interactive and friendlier.
It is not sensible to create a new thread just to say hi/hello and it is a REAL PAIN chatting with someone through the PM box.
Let me know what you feel in this regard.

Because the bots haven’t been programmed to do that yet. Right now, their system has only been programmed to remove posts where Whatsapp is mentioned. It’s kind of ironic though, considering they themselves mention Whatsapp in their warnings.

Cool. So I write “Not everyone around here belongs to whatsapp groups. Some of us still rely on DD.” which I assume implies there are whatsapp groups out there. Then aren’t you doing the same thing by warning “Don’t talk about whatsapp groups”. Nowhere in that topic I referred to any particular whatsapp group and yet I’m the one who was warned.

I’d agree with you if I was promoting any whatsapp group in my post. I was merely stating a fact. If at all, I was only talking good of Desidime. I don’t control the replies of others so why should I be held accountable for their actions? If I take one of your admin’s post where they have mentioned whatsapp and start talking about my whatsapp group, will you hold the admin responsible for starting it?

Oho! So this was going on here. Now, I feel bad. I should have told you then and there. First of all, accept this fact, that you assume too much. Your comment was derogatory (or as you say sarcastic in your words) in plain assumption which I tried to ward off in humor. But, now that you have assumed the responsibility of welfare of DD, then let me tell you that I equally share your concern. In your comment, you assumed that I am a part of some WA group, then let me tell you, out of my own choice, I am equally as WA shy as you are. If any dimer who is on WA, adds me to any group without my permission, then I ensure I block each and every member of that group before blocking him too. Don’t just assume, talk around with fellow dimers. Those who ask, I tell them straightaway no. I always keep saying don’t trade on WA, use DD chat feature only so that DD has its own record of numbers exchanged in chats. I only have few DDites on my WA who do occasional chit-chats or wallet/voucher exchange. I have not met anyone.
Also, if you instigate someone, then yes, you are liable and should be hold responsible for their actions, in this case replies.
Another thing you assumed was about warning, which I also got and replied to Bumblefoot as well which I rarely do with Admins. If you had any more weird assumptions left, please do ask for clarification before getting judgemental. Thank you very much. Good Night/Morning.
