@Beinghuman I am having some problem in accessing DD site. I am experiencing very slow loading of pages/threads, also when i try to search for anything in DD, it is taking a lot of time to show results and when i try to edit my posts, it just gets reverted to the home page of DD or just refreshes the thread. this can be from any of the known/unknown reasons, but mainly bios or system settings and Win10 default settings look like the usual suspects.
although I am NOT using Win10 on my rig, i do think that one of the initial troubleshooting you can do is to check if your machine is configured to ‘hibernate’.
If by chance it is the latter, then first thing is check if the Win10 default setting is to ‘hibernate’.
may be it is named similarly like fast start-up or something. these options are mainly to cut-down on boot time and or recreate the state of the PC just before it was unplugged. preserving all open windows and content before shutting down results in helluva time lag and can result in such issues
search/run box > Power Options > choose what the power button does > choose ‘shut-down’ in the drop-down options for ‘when i press the power button’
