Its open secret that many of user have no of recharge shop, use these trick for commercial purpose as a result trick r getting blocked within few days n gueniue user r suffering from that in spite of that trading section is still required this time rulez should be strictly followed n I oppose trading of wallet, criteria of who must transfer money first…

By this way I know we can 100% eradicate SCAM but can have control of it…

No, don’t remove it but make it accessible for dimers who have spent at least three months and they have earned more than 100 karmas. Just my opinion.

Please remove this section absolutely… As it is this forum is already hijacked by traders and users like us have almost stopped looking here… Any good deal that appears here is already sold out because of these traders… So no point in clicking on that link anyway…
Further there have numerous cases where the trading section is abused by the same traders simply because of the anonymity it offers… So please remove this section…

I would say, keep the trading section here, It makes people like to get cheaper deal without spending too much time.

But regulate it. Like the number of trading threads per week from a user, minimum karma to post threads, minimum description about the deal etc, almost everything that saves time and scams for the buyers. May be you could even start a escrow service for a charge to be safe for the buyers and sellers.

Missed a deal of Philips Bluetooth speakers that i wanted to gift to my Sis on her coming birthday than saw a msg on same thread that one dimer bought and changed his mind . Though all this happened outside the trading section but i don’t think it will be a good idea to remove this section completely from DD We can come with better ideas to make it more safe or can draft a topic of how to trade safely which will come handy for newbies . I voted NO cos I feel trading section is a good idea and it was made to benefit us but sadly in past few years it has taken a wrong turn and no it’s like a second home for most of the people who are into making money by doing cheap stuffs.

I am a registered member of DD for over 4 years and during my stay till now I hardly visited Trading section like 3-4 times.
So I am not the right person to make a comment on this matter.

I voted for non-removal of this section cos I feel there are quite a few member who trade genuinely and fairly.
I request admins to set some rules for Trade section and Newbies should be strictly barred from using it cos most of the times new members only create chaos as they come here only to trade and once done they never come back till they find some for free stuffs to trade for.

Baki aap sab jyada padhe likho ho dekh lo kya karna theek hoga.
Trading section ke hone na hone se mere ko kuch fark nahi padta waise bhi.

Please a big NO. With some restrictions and a few moderator watching after each thread will make it good. I feel it has been a great help to most of the people including myself. Infact the dimers with karma level of 100 and above should be alowed to trade. This might be a bad idea but it is definately going to help people who fall into easy tricks of con artist making new id’s to loot dimers. Let there be restrictions too for eg trading above 2k needs to get moderator approval before starting trading. Lets debate on the features what should be added and restricted rather completely removing it. I am not a regular person to desidime but i do check trading section from time to time. Think

As has been mentioned many times in the past, only possible solution will be to add an option for trade feedback on members profiles (like cheapassgamer and other such sites) and make the trading section. This requires the least effort on DD’s side and still improves the trading experience by a factor of 10 atleast (imo). It’ll never be perfect platform but that’s true for any online site be it ebay or amazon. There will always be bad eggs.

About restricting the trading section, while I understand the reason you dont eant to do such a thing, that too is necessary imo. Sure everyone was a newbie at one time. But this is trading for desidime members instead of a platform for business. I find it hard to believe people find dd, sign up and start trading the same day. It took me weeks before I even bothered to check the trading section. I’d say its pretty safe to assume such members are not really newbies and old members with new accounts instead. And don’t really have good intentions in general. Sure 10-20% of them might be genuine but thats not saying much.

So there has to be some sort of restriction before one can start trading in dd. Easiest would be based on number of posts & duration of their dd membership. Another options would be approval by dd mod team before one can start trading. Any member who seems suspicious based on thier ip address (using vpn etc) can be disallowed. This will make trading as safe as possible. Though I understand why it might be impractical too.

One more thing I’d like to see improved is a way to cut the spam in trading section. Whenever there’s a new trick, it gets spammed by members. 8 out of 10 threads in that section will be for that trick (like mmt wallets currently). That needs to be improved somehow too. But that discussion would be suited for a later date I guess. Currebt focus should be improving the safety and trust factor so that you dont need to ask if people want the trading section to be removed or not anymore.

What’s the advantage of showing dimes of a user?

Instead DimeCred should be displayed. Cred earned by a trader would help make decision about who to trade with and how.

I have seen people complaining that they are providing used coupons and they dont respond back after they get the payment. As every thing depend on faith on each other. So there must definitely some regulations in place on such practices.
