Using ICICI Pockets Card on Amazon

You can add that card as a payment method in amazon But it will not visible at gateway if you buy any gift card from amazon, same with lime (Credits @DealSeeker as he faced a problem earlier so we come to know about this a while ago) if you want to buy gift card without pockets then use it as netbanking or use DBS bank card (virtual card given by App) or shmart card if you have as they both are debit card, whereas pockets and lime are credit cards.

Interesting query. Unfortunately, I’m not able to use my Pockets card anywhere because of a blunder I committed.

Let’s see if @DealSeeker and @1cooldesidd got any info regarding this.

Used to do lots of transactions on Paytm as dc

@cm4444 You are not able to add the Pockets card as a payment method at all or are you not able to purchase using that as a payment option after adding it as a payment method?

I distinctly remember having added my pockets card as a payment method couple of months ago but never purchased anything and later deleted that.

@Magus What blunder? and yes we did use Lime VC as a DC to load payumoney.

I guess it depends upon the payment gateway, whether a card can be used as a DC, CC or both, as I was not able to use Lime as DC on pockets.

I did a transaction sometime ago with pockets as dc/cc
But after integration of pockets with Icici net banking, never used that on amazon
Anyways its not working now

Are you still able to use ICICi CC as a DC in pockets? I tried using icici CC in pockets but did not work.

Are you still able to use ICICi CC as a DC in pockets? I tried using icici CC in pockets but did not work.

@1cooldesidd I registered on Pockets with a wrong DOB, it seems. When I tap on Apply Now for a savings account, it shows some error message because of which I can’t view the DOB details in the account.
On top of all that, I have forgotten my login password since I have been using MPIN for a long time and can’t generate a new password either.

Bhai gadbad ho gayi. Socha tha 2 pockets a/c se 5k each ke amazon GV khareed lunga. 5% off amazon code chalega and 10% pockets cashback. Dono pockets a/c mein 5k daal diye thae axis GC se. But lagta hai plan successful nahi hoga

Go to login → Forgot password → they will redirect you to bank website where you can change your password.

Actually, I was advised to do this by Pockets CC in the very beginning when I had used my other number to create a pockets account on YW and was then unable to login to that account after ICICI introduced device authentication.

I was actually asked to use the sim in another smart phone to access that pockets account by a couple of Pockets reps. Even now I am doing that.

Guys, I faced this problem while trying to buy Woohoo cards from Amazon a few weeks ago. I added the Pockets card, but it would not appear as a payment option for buying Woohoo cards or, as confirmed by Vaibhav, any other gift cards. CC @Magus @cm4444 @1cooldesidd
