Each person has their own taste and acquired love for a particular variety of mango. Either by choice or grown up eating that. So it is wrong to say this particular variety is the best and you taste this and will never like other. Each variety has its distinguish taste (tanginess/sweetness) , texture etc. Each mango variety tastes good with different recipes. For example, dasheri as Aamras with poori, hapus alphonso as milkshake with tooti frooti, small tapka from village as it is immediately after being plucked/shed from the tree. So enjoy whatever variety you get hold on this season. I love to try any variety of mango I get either from online/offline during the season.

Malda beats it all ... I've had Langra in Pune from Big Basket, it's almost similar but I find Malda a bit better than Langra ... in Patna and around, dudhiya malda is the supremest category of malda one can get 😬
If anyone hasn't tried Malda, the best one ... then please do once and there won't be turning back, ever!
Rasapuri.
Mankurad from Goa King of Mangoes. You won't like anything after eating this mango.
Banganpalli
It's called safeda in North india.
Decision would vary on location, at our place we also have totapuri, dassheri, langda, chausa, kesar, sindhuri (red colored one). So out of these I prefer safeda. Haven't tried other regional varieties mentioned by dimers because it's not transported here.
Alphonso I tried but wasn't special so i wonder if I had actually eaten original variety or some knockoff.
