idea is good, but very difficult to implement, just go to local trades section, daily almost 50 new post comes for trade, mostly from New desidime ids, may be they don’t want to show their real identity…

By the way, I don’t agree with your first statement. If we can’t rely on a user’s karma points that he supposedly earned by his good deeds, then what other metric is there?

This is why I strongly discourage Karma games and speak against Karma beggers at every opportunity I get. Sadly, even non-deserving users become Deal Cadets within a single day of starting a giveaway or a trick-sharing thread (which are fake many times) where they openly ask for Karma. Some users don’t stop this highly annoying and immoral habit even after becoming Deal Subedars.

Another sad reality is that many senior dimers queue up in these threads and encourage the practice!

Iv sold coupons for less to trusted dimers than sell them for more to unknown dimers. And iv even bought for some bucks more from trusted dimers than buy at cheap from unknown dimers. @anshulgemini709 is only trying to warn us against trading with a possible cheater and he is asking for our help and sympathy. As for his comments intended for the admins, let them address those, if they choose to do so. Don’t start voting down and chastising him for something a lot of others have done in the past when they ended up with a bad trade.

By the way, as I have already mentioned, trading with wallet money is indeed allowed as evident by the scores of active threads in the ‘Local Trades’ section at any given time. Go, check right now if you have any doubts. But let’s not forget that it is not the topic of this thread. So please don’t try to derail the thread and make it harder for OP than it already is.

I was just about to post something similar. karma level is not exactly a defining criterion for determining trustworthiness. It might be an indicator thats all, but its not absolute. Luckily all my trades have been successful and some newbies have readily transferred up to 5K to me trusting me and they weren’t disappointed and I have also transferred larger amounts first and wasn’t disappointed. BUT when you are cheated it HURTS!!!

As for admins, all they can do is warn people to trade with caution. Either that or BAN trading altogether. Of course, repeat offenders are a different category.
