Thats is right and since the software app is not the recent one it’ll not recognize the new SoC correctly and will label it as an older one (happens with desktop PCs too. if you use an older version of CPUz on a recent hardware it detects and labels the hardware incorrectly). Need to confirm with most recent app updates.

I have installed Asphalt 8 Airbone on my Redmi but…while playing it stops automatically and now again when i was trying to restart the app..it stops after some time and came back to home screen..dont know whats the problem

Any other dimer please install the game and tell me if you are also facing same kind of problem.

I don’t know when people would accept that this is a 6k phone. Most of the people who are buying this phone would have happily accepted the crap dished out at them by companies like MMx but when some company brings them great hardware at VFM pricing they start nitpicking. No wonder we being taken for ride by most of the manufacturers here.

it looks like most of the people bought this phone due to Hype. Now they are trying to nitpick and discover some fault to returns their items.

I bought a redmi 1s myself and yes i was facing heating and freezing issue too. I updated the ROM to V36 and the phone doesn’t heat or freeze anymore. No phone is 100% perfect. If you have technical issues , you should be rather pointing it at MIUI threads and let the Developers know about it so that they can fix it instead of posting crap here.

Any way to stop the phone from auto killing background apps?
It just kills all my downloads and network managers.

Totally pathetic in multi-tasking

Having this phone for just 36 hours and
1) Screen Cracked – while it was kept for overnight charge
2) Crached – couple of times! Had installed just 2 games – TempeleRuna and Angry Birds!

Remember you get what you pay for! How I wish I had bought Nokia Lumia 630!

Exactly, that’s what my point is! From the beginning to this day, redmi 1s has been compared to high priced phones like MOTO G and today if it fails to deliver what was expected. People ask to stop hating…

as you say thegrchet398. I don’t want to break any rules of mods, just that last 6 months I have been going around with 2 spare mobile batteries in my pocket coz they don’t make OG Samsung I8150 batteries anymore. I participated in both sales and could not but it. PM’ed a few dimers for help in adding to my cart or getting it from them but without luck. I am not too hopeful. I hope some dimer would help

Faced the same issue… Think it is a low ran issue

redmi is cheap chinese product , best suitable for rikshawala,s nd labourers, much hyped, even mmx phones r 1000 times better..

some friends having issue with games so i tested my phone with asphalt 8… played gamed for almost half an hour.. no crash.. in between i tried to snapshots and posting here.. also i took snapshot of ram when i was playing the games still it was showing 120 mb ram approx.. gone to home screen and came back to game to test multi tasking.. the game was paused not crashed.. now when i thought maybe i should go little further, while game was running i switched to browser and tried to surf net.. then finaly game crashed and started from beginning which was expected.. browser itself eat lot of ram…

about heating.. it heated little not much.. it was at acceptable level..
though i didnt tested for long like 1 hour of gaming etc still the half an hour i tried it worked pretty smoothly without any glitch or stucking.. overall… im happy… posting screenshots below
