Time to revise the negative karma power

Also, one thing i noticed that no one gives(very few) karma’s if they successfully trade with newbies in Trade section. Therefore most of the dimers who only trade are newbies and they never get promoted . Hence , it get difficult to separate cheaters from these newbies .
Please guys , make it a habit to give karma , with whomsoever you trade with .

Trading is not allowed on DD , either in form of paytm cash or NEFT .. there should be a system to add -ve karmas for for anyone who indulge in cheap coupon selling , those user should be banned .

NEFT/IMPS Is not allowed . Rest ,everything is allowed .

@no fpd Thanks for the suggestion. Yes agree with you that we need to revise the negative karma a bit…

Even Mods and Admins can give max of -5 Karma… We will rework on that…

I have tried to correct this misconception about the trading rules in the past, but it seems you didn’t read or simply ignored my posts on this topic.

I hope this clears your misconception. Moreover, I believe the trading section is a useful and sensible feature of DesiDime. But I do agree that more checks should be in place to make the system better.

@admin, @anthrax.ut As I have requested before, can you guys please update the trading rules to keep things clear? There is a lot of conflicting/unclear information on the rules threads. If you want to keep the old information for posterity, at least mark the post with a term like “RETRACTED” or “ANNULLED”.

I Don’t know if i have earned the right to speak about this or not (as just joined 3 months back)… But i also think Only Deal Major and above allowed to give Negative karma is little issue, Because in past 3 months i have seen maximum 20 Dimers who are above Deal Major, and many of them are not that active or they simply are not interesting in these type of things….

So agree with @no fpd that if possible than some Deal Captains also should got this power, Not all but some, May be some dimers who have Badges, or some other criteria….

And also Deal cadet can give 6 Positive Karma, so 2 Negative karma from Deal Major don’t have any actual impact, it only impacts those who cares about their reputation on DD, but Those who are Breaking rules rarely cares about reputation….

Also Agree with @DealSeeker , Rules regarding trading should be clarified, These days i am seeing many post in Hot deals Section also for trading….

Guys we will come up with revised (already working on it) version of rules. Also we are already discussing on increasing the power to give -ve karma. Along with one more new feature for trading.
