Airtel Payments Bank NCMC Card launched
Airtel is today buzzing on the internet for hitting a record high on the stock market. The upward move is said to have come after some tariff optimism that suggests a possible tariff hike for telcos post-elections. Moreover, Airtel in partnership with NPCI has launched an NCMC card facility on its Airtel Thanks app.
For those of you who may not know, Airtel Payments Bank also allows customers to open a savings account and use features like UPI, recharges, bill payments, FASTags, and fund transfers. Moreover, the payments bank also has some frequent cashback offers running.
What is an NCMC card?
An NCMC card is a contact + contactless inter-operable transport card launched by the government of India in March 2019. An NCMC card works just like a debit card or a prepaid card. Customers can use it for seamless tap, pay and go payments as well as online payments

Customers can now order the NCMC-enabled debit card on Airtel Thanks app or by visiting any of the 5 Lakh designated banking points of Airtel Payments Bank
To order the card, customers first need to open a savings account or prepaid wallet in the Airtel Payments Bank
You might need to submit your government ID proof such as an Aadhar card or PAN card
Order the NCMC card on the Airtel Thanks app through its banking section
Get the card delivered to your door
