but in case of amazon GVs, the buyer can always give his/her amazon ID & the mediator can add/credit these Gvs to his/her amazon account.
& then take flipkart Gvs, this trade will be even more complicated as the GVs cant be attached/credited to flipkart account. But if bought, must be used at that instant.

a business opportunity for DD.
may be DD can open a gift voucher swapping service.
and to validate and protect dimers, they can talk to these merchants (amazon/SC/FK etc.) and get an option to block/hold gv until the transfer is successful or tie it to a specific account of the gv buyer etc. some option where it does not result in fraud usage. this will be a very good facility for buyers having urgent need but no required gv
