Important Terms & Conditions
1. Maximum reward points earned per statement cycle under this program as below:
HDFC Bank Diners Rewardz Card – 2000 pointsHDFC Bank Diners Premium Card – 5,000 pointsHDFC Bank Diners Black Card – 25,000 points 2. Redbus offer is applicable only on bookings made through Redbus app.
3. Only direct payments made using HDFC Bank Diners Club retail cards will be eligible. Any wallet payments will not be eligible even if wallet is refilled through HDFC Bank Diners Club Credit Card.
4. Incremental Reward Points will be posted in the next statement from the statement cycle of transaction, except for Lifestyle , SmartBuy which will be posted within 90 days of the transaction month.
5. SmartBuy Offer is applicable only for Flight and Hotel Bookings. Also customer has to continue as a guest to avail the offer.

Got the statement for last month, not very sure about the 10x points multiplication, has anyone been able to reconcile.. Do we need to mail to HDFC for this

I have rewards card
so for 10000 spends in amazon (splitted into 5 transactions) I should have got 1980 points @ 30 for each 150, but i got around 1660 (281 last month and rest this month)
I guess I am doing some wrong calculations, somebody please point out if you find out

Any reliable way to upgrade rewards to premium ? Hdfc CC is saying there are no such ways that we can go through to upgrade !! And even not possible to get another hdfc credit card …when we have one from hdfc !!
Upgraded last month from Rewardz to Premium..After a relationship of Rewardz card of say 2.5 yrs, submitted last month at the nearest HDFC Bank branch “Special Request Form for Upgradation based on SmartPay Bill Registration”..Branch person also asked for last 3 month salary slips and PAN card copy…Branch sent the form to Chennai office…Within 15 days, upgradation got approved w/o any other hassle.
SmartPay-I have paid 2-3 LIC bills in last 2 yrs using their Auto Pay option…Submitted a printout proof of this as additional, though it was not asked for or required as such.

Some update (for all HDFC Diners cards):
Effective 1st July’2017:
a. EasyEMI and e-wallet loading transactions will not accrue Reward points.
b. Reward points accrued will be reversed if a retail transaction is converted into SmartEMI.
c. Reward points accrued for Insurance transactions will have a maximum cap of 2,000 per transaction.
This may be useful, there was a query somewhere in the forum, could not find it in search.
5. SmartBuy offer is applicable on all categories as mentioned in SmartBuy_10X_T&C.. Also customer has to continue as a guest to avail the offer.
Checked with CC, 10X is applicable on all categories on Smartbuy, including Flipkart, Recharge and Nearbuy deals.

It’s a separate offer though and T&C mentions (among other things): “The offer is valid till 31 Aug 2017”
Does it make sense to apply for the diners black card now? I mean the 10X eligibility is till 31 July, and the card may get activated after this date only.

Better look for SBI Prime or Yes Preferred cards. Even Amex seems better.
For Online Usage SBI Simply Click is better as compared to Prime.

Remember each voucher generation would be charged 75 plus 18% gst.
I think redeeming 65k points for flight tickets on diners website generates more value than converting them to JPmiles.. expert please suggest 
if any 1 wants convert thier ponts to cash is possibe.

Quite late to the party but my diners black got approved & will get it next couple of days. Pls help with below queries
1) Is 10X applicable on loading money in Bigbasket wallet ? Asking in case the 10x doesnt get extended, does it make sense to load in advance ?
2) Capping of 25k is on complete 10X or 9X points considering 1X is not capped ?
3) Does Diners work on Payzapp ?
4) Smartbuy 10X is applicable on Recharges & Bill Payments ?
1) Logically, 10X “should be” applicable on wallet loading also. Trial and error with smaller amount initially is one of way of discovering the actual outcome…other than of course, confirming with sbdy who has been doing it. I have done with Citi and Payzapp in past – and they did give CB for loading w/o explicitly stating this…
2) Yes, Cap not on 1x based pts
3) Diners does not currently work on Payzapp.
4) Yes. Do read the fine print though… E.g. Sign in as Guest etc

On my card I received offer via email that, spent Rs. 2 Lakh till Oct 31st and receive 7500 reward points to be credited by Dec 31st. Recently 2500 RP were credited and I really don’t know under what offer I used card. But it is worth Rs. 750. 
The problem in HDFC is even in statement you can’t know for what RP is credited as it only shows for whole month.

I applied for this online via HDFC Diners website, got a call back from them. They confirmed my salary & other details & sent the executive next day to collect documents. My salary was above their eligibility criteria & hence it must have got approved. Have a savings a/c with HDFC which is not used much & Moneyback visa card since last 9 years.

Process followed to get this card looks straightforward => So if a person satisfies the salary eligibility criteria mentioned and willing to pay fees, one can get it rather easily it appears….
Observation: Given that joining fee is 10k+Taxes (10k refunded in a way in form of pts, 1800 taxes i guess one wud need to bear?) and annual fee 5k+ taxes (should be able to get it waived thru annual spending of 5L), once recd, one should look at making good enough use of it.. 
Assuming devaluation would be retrospective (i.e. past accumulated points as well would be devalued, though that’s an unfair practice?), can the more informed ppl around share ‘their ideas’ on how best to utilize their points in descending order of value realization!! 
While I too would be giving some thought to it (till say 10th of August) abt it, inputs/response here (or on PM) would be appreciated..Thanks in advance!!

JP Miles are the most useless. I have around 60K miles and don’t know what to do. I was planning to go to Colombo (from Bangalore). The cash payment with points is only 20% lower if I book all cash. Insane. For domestic, the less said the better. It does work out better for long haul, but then you need lot more points. It might be better to transfer to Krisflyer if you plan to travel internationally.
hi, i have a dinersclub rewardz card right now. i am very disappointed to know that the reward points are going to be useless. i heard that if you connect your mobile bill with the card it gets life time free. also, can i upgrade it to premium or black? if yes, please let me know.
Yes, it can be done…If u already managed to get Rewardz, you can try (bcoz not sure how much salary wud play role in upgrade, though it sure will i guess?) using this offer..I have done it few months back and some others too have done i think.
