Bro you recharged for 1149 and got 3 years validity, but how?. 100×36 = 3600 how you got that for 1149, is it account specific or for all. Just want to recharge with bharat pack 100 wala then ill add 50 wala hd addon on that. It will be a loot for me atleast, earlier Iw as paying 180 for sd channels 
I have Tata sky Dish , I don’t want to move that Dish attached to Wall on terrace …so if u buy Dish tv then will Dish tv need only settop box to get active my channel without that Round box frond of Dish will work? I need to change settop box from Tata sky and just want to replace with Dish tv set top box so I don’t have to move my wire and Dish which is on wall …can do that ..help @chingumboy @jpduminy
Yes, you can get it done when local retailer come to install. You have two options. 1. He will re-align your Tata Sky dish and angle it to Dish TV. 2. I would rather advice you to better use new dish. He will remove the round reflector on terrace from your already installed Tata Sky and put new Dish TV one without drilling at a new place to install mast on which dish installs.
Actually your Tata Sky LNB may have got older by now. So you better install the new one on same mast with new LNB from DishTV. 
So you wont have to move the mast, only round reflector will change. I myself using DishTV reflector for my Tata Sky secondary connection. 
As I can align myself, so did the job.

dont buy dishtv ..it is worst ……bought 2 month ago ..they have not shraddha channel…later on they removed news18 india channel ..and many more is going to be remove surely..so dont purchase …m still in trouble with my 2 month old connection
You can expect much better response from there side when they finally merge with Videocon D2H, forming Dish TV Videocon Ltd.
further…dish tv is good for single tv/connection but for multiple tvs/connection ….dish becomes equivalent to tatasky.

it is 1279 rs now for 3 years…. yes u can use 55r package alone, i am getting 40-50 tamil channels with that package.

I recharged with 1149 for 3 years and now get this bharat pack free and using 2 cartoon packs worth 65. Earlier had full on hd worth 185 for all hd channels on dish tv. Don’t think one has to pay for free to air channels aka bharat pack by recharging for 3 years.
