i do use brave as my primary browser.
the problem with its ad block is that it blocks the ad just fine but the space where the ad used to be will show up as blank white space, so you will keep scrolling through blank white spaces in between walls of text. ublock origin will even remove those white spaces and consolidate the whole website so it looks more readable and scrollable.
