A Convenience fee will be levied on all electricity, water and gas bills payments made through American Express EPAY. This change does not impact majority of bill payment categories such as telecom, mobile, insurance, magazines, donations and other categories apart from electricity, water and gas. You also continue to earn Membership Rewards Points on all your bill payments.
The applicable charges are as follows (excluding GST) :-
Rs. 50 per transaction for bill payment up to Rs. 15,000 | Rs. 100 per transaction for bill payment between Rs. 15,001 to Rs. 1,00,000 | 1.95% of the transaction amount for payments above Rs. 1,00,000

in annual premiums LIC gives 30 days extra time (without penalty)

you need to register your amex card at https://payments.billdesk.com/ubp/axpages/ind...sp followed with set up auto instructions of your bill and 3 to 4 days prior to due will be paid and billed in your upcoming amex card statement

Yes, as many you wish but the 5% discount is capped at 750.
All please note post registeration all forthcoming bills will autopaid by amex e-pay till you don’t stop the service.
For people who can wait, suggest to wait for more better deal, amex may come up with bonus reward points program, last time I registered in Dec/Jan I received 1000 bonus points for registering a payee on amex epay

My bill is due on 20th july and it was presented last week on email. I didn’t registered earlier on amex unaware of this offer would come.
Now it will take few days to register and not sure it will present the bill again.
Do note that you will not earn any reward point for payment through EPAY.
Even if you pay any other way also you will not earn points for utilities and fuel and insurance. I am talking about rewards card though.
