Perhaps because they did not officially start the offer until about an hour back. You probably ordered from a direct link posted here and the order got stuck in some weird status.
You have checked your PayUMoney accounts, right? Because that’s where the coupons are being applied to automatically.

@amit3880 is right about the 20% discount. You will also get it if you sign up on PayUMoney via the promotional offer posted on DesiDime earlier: http://www.desidime.com/forums/coupons-freebies.... I bought one voucher for 79.20 a few minutes back.
@amit3880 never said you will get 20% discount when actually buying the movie tickets, although that’s probably also possible if you pay on bookmyshow.com via a new PayUMoney account that still has the 20% new user discount unused.

Check your PayUMoney accounts, i.e. login there. You will see the coupons. PayUMoney apparently has a bug in their email template that’s why the $couponString never got replaced with the actual coupon code.

I’d advise you to buy more from other accounts right now while it’s working and worry about those previous orders later. If you don’t wanna end up with double orders, cancel the previous ones. Remember, the offer works for one voucher per account. Oh and you can combine the new PayUMoney account 20% discount to get the vouchers for 79.20. bought one. vu + kg. funny thing is i bot it for 79.80 with payumoney20 coupon which was present itself in my payumoney dashboard and its working for transactions less than 251 too!! guess its a bug then.and coupon came to me in an email and also in my payumoney dashboard.note: payumoney email id and id used to buy tickets from shopclues is same. shopclues never sent an email with coupon code but just order confirmation. payumoney sent email with coupon code. those who hving problems,keep calm and check ur payumoney dashboard instead of shopclues dashboard. even if u pay 99 for it and not 79.80 be grateful

Select PayUMoney as the payment option on bookmyshow.com. The coupon will be available to “Apply” once you login and proceed to pay via the PayUMoney account that you bought the voucher from. 100% verified!

Its still on…just bought 1…in total bought 8 Vouchers…also remember use your vouchers wisely as its better to use 2 vouchers if the payment is more then 100 odd rupees…rather use another voucher and do another transaction on BMS
And guys check your email, you would be getting 2 codes that is 2 × 250′s I got 2 of them.
