@hese Here is one example to help explain what he meant. If you are buying two tickets each costing Rs.250 so that your total order amount on Bookmyshow.com is approx 500, then it makes more sense to make two transactions each for ordering one ticket. This way you’d end up paying close to 0 as opposed to 250 if you used only one voucher on one order. Capiche?

Let me make it little more simpler..

if you buy 2 tickets at 200 each total is 400 odd excluding the Convenience fees…now if you apply a coupon you will still pay 150 Rs…

So in total you paid 99 for Coupon and 150 for tickets = 249 Rs

Instead you make 2 different transactions…

and pay only 99 each so in total 198 which is the coupon charge…Pls note there is no minimum transaction value

I although got this doubt: They say that there is no minimum purchase amount but max discount is 250, so if I book tickets worth 150 and pay via payumoney account in which there is this BMS 250 coupon, then what happens? Do I get 150 off and rest 100 is stored for next transaction?

For all those errors involving “not serviceable in your area”, I did a “trick” and it worked.

This offer is only from PayU Money, neither Bookmyshow nor shopclues(FakeClues) has anything to do with it technically.

I think Payu shud also introduce wallet system in near future, that wud be like icing on the cake.

Finally time to see PK at lesser rates.

It’s a use it all or nothing kind of coupon. So if the order amount is less than 250, you get the ticket for Rs. 0, i.e. free! 100% verified just now. Ah, but you have already paid 99 for the voucher so this will be a waste. Most probably, no.

Payumoney won’t even allow to use the 20% discount (available still 31st Dec) to be applicable on this offer.

Haha…I realize what you are hoping to do there. Alas, these vouchers are automatically added to the PayUMoney accounts and the only option to redeem them on BMS, AFAIK, is to pay via the PayUMoney account used to purchase the voucher.

@amit3880 never said you will get 20% discount when actually buying the movie tickets, although that’s probably also possible if you pay on bookmyshow.com via a new PayUMoney account that still has the 20% new user discount unused.
