Don’t pay a rupee, if u get messages like these from AliExpress sellers (Prior to or post shipping)
This is a known scam or trick played by sellers to compensate free shipping / discounts + coupons during sale days
Best thing u can do is to ignore the seller message and wait for the package to ship/deliver. If the seller updates wrong tracking number then wait until u can dispute it (Remember you can only dispute once)
One good thing about seller updating fake tracking number (You can’t give feedback if order gets auto-cancelled) is you can give feedback to the seller/product (Give Negative Feedback with the screenshots of seller messages)
Pretty sure this is against Aliexpress policies, why dont you report this
Hi.. my order status sometimes shows “held by customs” and some time shows " accepted by last mile carroers" do anyone knw whts the exact status, and if stuck in customs,then how n where to contact.. the product was of 1700/-
" accepted by last mile carriers" – means that indiapost has got it and you should get it soon (if it has customs, indiapost guy will ask you to pay it)
Always order from somebody who provides a tracking number , or make sure you pay via paypal or something which makes ur purchase safe.
If the order is not received then just raise it with paypal or alipay. NEVER click on received order even when store guy tells you that he will ship another one.
