(ADMIN ALERT - New Site) Amazon , Flipkart Gift Voucher At 10% Discount At Shopiwo

Completely Fake Website. Don’t buy from them.

Today their customer care number is also not working. My email is now showing as not registered at all though I placed an order from that id.

Beware. Admin please remove the site or mark it as Unsafe so that other people are not cheated.

Bro what 45k of gift card, i know you wanted to save. I thought the same but the headache after purchase and wait for the voucher is disturbing, cause the reply from that website team is poor and unprofessional.

I am not new to desime, i was just too greedy of 11% discount Yeah I was thinking the same after looking at their mail and customer care call. However I placed order trusting payumoney and american express , but it seems payumoney has already released amount to shopiwo I have already raised dispute, hope everything will be fine. see below as per payumoney, they released the amount

Timelines and status does not make sense. It looks like these are timelines for some automates steps, if you google for payu settlement times it’s either T+2(where T is the transaction date) or after the goods get delivered for the payu biz and payu Money respectively

I’m still waiting for 5k GV, from two days they’re saying that you’ll get it by the end of today…giving reason that payment confirmation awaited.
I transacted through payu.

Guys be patient once you inform payumoney, just keep updated with them.

And for voucher to deliver, wait for 3 days (working) as per their noob T&C.

the problem is the id from which payment was done is now showing as not registered on the website. So, its 100% illegitimate site. I have raised a dispute with Citi Bank as I paid through them. When I paid, I was not aware of PayUMoney

Lets hope we get Gift Vouchers as promised as now their customer care number is also not working.

Everyone who has placed an order for GV from this site, please cancel/withdraw (raise alarm) your payments by talking to your Bank/CC-team/payment gateway…

This is clearly a Scam-in-making, again via DesiDime’s platform. This Shopiwo is following the standard method of getting a large number of orders and fulfilling a few of them, thereby to create a Positive Word of Mouth. And after reaching a break-even they have all intentions for flying away with your money. How can anyone pay Rs 45,000 (or even Rs 1000) to somebody with No Identity, no prior existence etc etc, and just a ‘www’ link. Payment gateways are fine and trusted, but scam-makers know their way to twist them. Do you think, payment gateway is going to hold your money for 5+ days? NO… And after 5+ days, once Shopiwo receives your money, they will simply fly-away (in actual will keep sitting where they are, on the pile of money looted from gullible Desidimers, and will just delete the website hosting).

And somewhere deep down their hearts will thank DesiDime, without whose support it wouldn’t have been possible.

Point is, Nobody should be doing any such transactions on any website, which clearly is a work of couple of days coding, and who doesn’t have significant history of being into business. At no-point this website appears ‘Sustainable’. What they are doing isn’t a business-model. Its a big-big scam in first place. Somebody offloading his/her personally acquired (probably through illegal means) Gift-vouchers in exchange of Real-Money.

Buying from this Website is akin to buying from Chor-Bazaar (With no trace of from where the product/gv are coming and who is the Seller.
