Truly Unlimited Broadband Thunder Plans From Reliance
http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/internet/wi...
Some Plans Comparision
1. Tikona Broadband
http://tikona.in/for-homes-wireless-broadband-t...
Note: Tikona donot provide truly unlimited plans. That means based on plans u select after certain GBs of download ur speed may be same or decrease. But speed decreases & i have faced his. Cheap tactics. Reliance plans are truly unlimited.
2. BSNL Broadband
www.upe.bsnl.co.in/download/curr_bb_pl...df
http://www.bsnl.co.in:9080/opencms/bsnl/BSNL/se...
http://210.212.169.201/erp/bbpl...hp
Note: Same as Tikona not truly unlimited.
3. Airtel Broadband
http://www.airtelbroadband.in/wps/wcm/connect/A...
Note: They are costly. Thay have FUP (Fair Usage Policy) in all the plans listed by them. They advertise themselves as take unlimited plans but put a small star(*) mark in all the plans. It means if any body has taken 1 MBPS unlimited plan then after 10gb of download the speed will reduce to 256 kbps. I have taken an example.
P.S: All the Broadband plans listed by any Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are exclusive of taxes …. Add 12.36% in them
Great plans bro…
True Unlimited Plans without any data cap. 4 Mbps and 12 Mbps plans are awesome.
Will call Customer care tomorrow to know the location availability.
Thanks for silent votes…:-P
Thanks for posting
Good one. VU
Thanks for sharing.
Time to shift from MTNL (fed up of their lousy customer service)
Thunder 899 Annual plan at 9k looks awsome:-D.
please post if someone finds devil in t&C
Moved to in store …

plans are good though.
There is no single ISP in India which has not got negative reviews … It all depend on the luck of the person that his internet is working well… I am using Tikona now, worst ISP ever, too many disconnections in an hour … main reason is its being a wireless … Wired BSNL users have got their own problems … working well then he is the king otherwise have to become beggars in front of BSNL officers… Airtel is too much costly … So only Reliance remains …. I am telling this because i had personally used all the ISPs & Reliance was the best amongst them ….:-D

1> Go for 699 unlimited plan … in additional 150rs u will get 2 MBPS
2> Airtel has the best customer service but sadly they had FUP … If u want unlimited plans then Reliance plans are best 2nd best are Tikona …
3> Installation charges are Rs.599 extra … Better call 180030007777 .. Its a tollfree number … I had taken reliance 6 months ago but since i was using PC i haven’t asked for wireless router
4> All plans are exclusive of taxes … Add 12.36% in them
I am using a plan from my local cable operator.
4mbps and data limit of 50gb for 3 months.
I am paying 1350 bucks for the same. Should I switch?

It depends … If ur usuage is more than 50GB quaterly & want unlimited plan then Reliance is good .. take 549+12.36% plan … u have to compromise with ur surfing speed…

if the process of registering the plan could have been online it would have not been in- store
its in in-store because y have to either visit or call them so its a physical store
hope its clears to u , btw i’d suggested as fpd
i m thinking for 549 after tax it will be 620 per month
now i m thinking 620 vs 786 (airtel)

Thanks for suggesting 4 FPD …
Ur city? Reliance had one another problem it has limited number of ports in each area so beware of middlemen agents … call them & ask for your area availablity… my money has once been stucked later they cleared by issuing a cheque..

Your comment prompted me to rethink opting for reliance bb.
But then I came across this http://www.mouthshut.com/Internet-Service-Provi.... All other ISPs too have only 20-30% recommendation.
Any comments on customer care quality of reliance bb.

As i had told every ISP in India has problems & has got unsatisfied customers… its all depend on ur luck … my experience with Reliance & BSNL was good … Take a new monthly 1 MBPS reliance connection … initially u have to pay 549 installation charges … they will come & set up the broadband u can check whether connection is proper or not .. after one week if it is proper pay remaining 620rs … simple… About mouthshut … u r seeing only 270 reviews out there & there will be approx thousands of satisfied customers… Admit it or not we Indians love giving negative reviews but are lazy in giving positive reviews ..we do n’t know when our positive review of a certain product can backtrack us & will start creating problems … So Take on ur own decision …
Reliance is one of Best ISP in India. They have bug in billing system or rather they have habit of sending huge bills, but their service is good. The issue may be last mile connectivity for disturbances.
I have used their Wimax about 5-6 years ago for about 1 year.At that time broadband was 256 kbps and I had opted for 2 mbps limited plan,However the tower was about 1 km away and there were many tall buidlings around my house so the signal was not that good in my house. As a result, I used to get speed of just 1-1.2 mbps (which was awesome during those days of dial up connection).
I never paid anything over my bill amount despite being limited usage plan.
i got it disconnected as a building was being constructed just 2-3 house next to ours which blocked the path of that Wimax receiver and my net stopped working.
I registered complaint and sent them emails and got full waiver off on rent for all those days for which net didnt turned up (nearly about 7-10 days and then services were terminated).
I’ll be happy to buy Freedom 999 plan under wired services, however Reliance have poor connectivity of wiring. I doubt till date ,hardly half of Delhi have been covered by Reliance. This is the main issue with Reliance. Most of you won’t find connectivity in your locality.
PS : I have been using Internet from 8-10 years from Mtnl dial up of 56 kbps to Cdma dial up of Tata Indicom as well Reliance.I have also tried Mtnl Broadband,Airtel Broadband,Sify Broadband (both Wired as well as Wimax). I have also tasted Idea,Voda,Airtel,Mtnl/Bsnl as well Reliance 3G.
Currently on Mtnl broadband from past 1 year on 512 kbps unlimited ,later switched to Night booster of 2 mbps.

Thanks for writing your experience.
Checked up CC today, its available in my area in delhi. They don’t provide modem.
I intend to opt for quartely plan, since quartely/half-yearly/annualy all cost the same.
To the Mods: I believe this topic is not getting its due attention in this section and has the potential to benefit far more people, perhaps a FPD would do.
VU & suggested
Gone are those days where ISPs can do what they want … Read the article ..
Thinking to avail this .
So initial amount will be :
599 installation charge + Plan we opt for (549 or 699 or 899 or 1099 or 999) .
Are there any hidden charges ?

you have to add +12.5% to plan as taxes
Awesome cheap broadband plans. Will shift to Reliance from BSNL soon . Thanks for posting.
