Gone are those halcyon days, when I could just pick a book n sit on the sofa n read for all day long. I don't know everything. I just try to go deeper while learning about things. This habit started during my early childhood days. I actually read quite a variety of stuff. I read newspaper ( crime section excited me.), science magazines for kids ( big people wrote simple articles on really complex things.), kids stories from Chandamama, translated novels by famous foreign writers ( When I was 12 years old, I got exposed to Sherlock Holmes for first time. Ofcourse I didn't have the necessary skills to read the original text. I did the second best option, by taking the translated books instead.), matured stories on unemployment and heartbreaks etc, my sisters' science, history n political science books. I can vividly remember I asked about Guillotine used in French revolution to my sister's professor. 🙂 I was severely bullied at school though. I really hate my school days. Teacher would pick on me, my friends picked on me. That was a rough period. A price has to be paid for being different and intelligent and it's a very dear one. Because my father moved from one district to another I was getting some interim relief and escape from those things.

I was an avid stone collector. I collected stones from various shapes n sizes. I would strike them n see the spark. I experimented on them heavily. I would add a bit of petrol n strike the stones in order to make a flame Outta it. 🐒

Diwali was a very dear festival to me. I collected different things to burn on that day. 🐒😁 And I was very scared of loud firecrackers. I used to let adults to use those firecrackers n I played with the firecrackers boxes. 🙂 I would lit a fire n watch how it engulfs that poor gun powder laced card board box. It was fun.

My love for engineering started early in my childhood. When I was 2 years old, I would spot bikes n cars n ask my sister to take a look at em too. The machinery underneath them fascinated me. The secret behind the loud grunt of big lorries n muffled vroom sound of cars amused me. I collected their stickers n photos. I tried to draw them on papers. Honestly those drawings were pretty terrible. But those were drastically different from those made by my friends.

Honestly speaking I wouldn't dare to go back n try to face them again but those were good days. 🙂🙂🙂
