Yes, there is no provision of refund in eGVS. Although I would like to share mine experience:

I purchased a 500rs EGV from freecharge long back and when I applied it , it straight went to place order . So lesson 1- do not try to apply and check if it is working and not. It will work that too only once. there is no try ball
my order amount was 535 and to my surprise, delivery boy didn’t ask me for 35/- extra. Later I had a look at the slip and found that some how in the bottom it was mentioned that I have paid 1500/- (not 500 as it should have been). then I deliberately called the sotre manager and asked that can I use the remaining amount of 1500-535 at next order. He clearly told me that Egvs are one time use only. I should have place a order worth 1500/-

Although I was surprised at the goofup that I received 1500 voucher from free charge instead of 500. But I could not do any thing. it was gone -hath ko aaya muh na laga .

so lesson no 2- E GVS can’t be redeemed for cash or it can be used only one time

still I tried my best and told store manager that I was unaware of such policy and this was my first time. He said sorry, as expected. Later I received a call from the Store manager and to my utter surprise he was ready to pay remaining of the amount in cash. He just send one delivery boy to pay me remaining cash balance. WTH.. never expected this.
some times Dominos surprises you in a good way.

So lesson 3- you should try atleast once, talk to store manager. He may do something. (atleast he will offer you Free Pizza next day or so)

PS- due to my conscience I could not use that money and later donated it.

@vcxv The goof-up which caused the 500 eGV from Freecharge to actually be worth 1000 or 1500 was first discovered and posted by @roneybabber if I remember correctly. This happened with many people. Some exploited it and some didn’t. CC @sidbhai @VaibhavJain

P.S. The good thing was there was no way of knowing in advance what your eGV was worth.

Ya, it was 9 months ago. Some were able to avail Rs 1500 including me (but no use as I did not know its value) and few people wasted their Rs 500 voucher in hope that it will give them Rs 1500 benefit. CC @BUTTERFLYBOY

Nah, bro. That was Freecharge. I don’t think Nearbuy is doing the same goof-up. I can’t be sure as I haven’t tried using the eGV yet.

Nah, bro. That was Freecharge. I don’t think Nearbuy is doing the same goof-up. I can’t be sure as I haven’t tried using the eGV yet.

taken DOMINOS to consumer affairs ministry, for freechage coupon refund which was used on app but didnt process due to app shut down.

lets c have asked for 1500 in return. will update if something happens.

Tried all , problem is they just hav no idea how to deal with my problem hav got at least 4 to 6 calls from them yet they haven’t been able to resolve it. N without refund they closed the case. I.e y now a legal option.

you can test after applying coupon if works then all is well
no bogo/coupons kinda killed the deal
although i knew it already that these doesnt work with e-gvs but saw a comment from senior dimer that these are working with bogo
so went ahead and bought one more
