Credit card bill payment through SBI Unipay portal comes under Utility category and you will get flat 1% upto 750 per month.
Other Details -
Note - cashback will credit within 2 days to 2 weeks (normal cashback will credit within 4-5 days but sometimes it will take upto 2 weeks).

I paid today morning through this portal. 1st transaction failed and the second one too failed, but due to timeout. However, the 2nd transaction was actually successful as CC got credited with the amount. 3rd and 4th transactions to different credit cards were also successful. I recommend to manually click on redirect link as soon as payment is made instead of waiting for auto redirect, to avoid the timeout error.

I use SBI Unipay many times in the past, if your transaction is failed, SBI Unipay will auto refund within 5-7 days. Some banks like Kotak debit card takes upto 12 days to credit the refund.

Answer - banks always told pay through their own billdesk credit card bill pay website to clear your credit card bill because if your payment will stuck then its bank's responsibility to credit your amount on time.
If you don't listen to the bank, and if you use a third party site, you will have to be ready for both the pros and cons. 😀
All I can tell you is that this website is 100% trusted, if by chance payment will failed you will get auto refund. You just need to be patience.
