for basic sites or blogging sites it is well and good but if you wanna build a shopping site or fully customizable site you need to upgrade

after 1 year you can transfer domain (zoho cc said me)
got this reply when I asked them about domain transfer
Hi Maniraj,
While web hosting and email hosting are free forever, users will have to renew the domain by making a payment of around INR 500/year (USD $8/year).
After 1 year from the date of claiming the domain name, you may renew it and transfer your domain name to any other hosting service provider. Website built using the Zoho site builder cannot be transferred to another provider, but can be downloaded in a zip file and saved in your computer.
Should you have any other queries, feel free to reply to this email and we will be more than happy to answer your queries.

Stop spreading false information when you don’t know or less knowledge about it. They have mentioned on site its for one year. And they giving .in/co.in domain free which is a great deal.
Next year you must renew with them else you will loose your domain
Renewal is necessary before transffering
As per site, It’s free domain only.
You can host your site anywhere else.
VU
But, for a free domain, it’s not advisable to share your PAN…

Actually this offer is for businesses and sharing PAN/PIN is compulsion , there is no risk but still this offer no way good as after year we would be paying all charges to reserve the domain

General rule : No, you can transfer your domain somewhere else after 1 year (Upto 15 days after expiry)
