Paid 3k electricity bill in the morning using INDIA promocode in a brand new account that has not been used before except ‘add money’ to wallet txn prior to that. Still no cashback credited. Contacted cc to see what is their excuse, because I have a hunch that they will not give cb after 48hrs. Even GPay had 20Rs cashback for bill payment, should have gone for that.

Guys seriously stay away from mobikwik, their dishonest excuse is pasted below:
Dear User, as mentioned in our offer T&Cs, the Payment should be done using the applicable payment modes only i.e.(CC/DC/UPI) and the instrument used should be new and unique i.e debit cards/ credit cards previously used for any other transaction on MobiKwik will not be eligible for this offer.
As checked and found you are not meeting the mentioned criterion of a new and unique payment instrument. Hence, you aren’t eligible for the benefits. Thanks!

But the TnC shown in the app while doing the transaction never mentioned this limitation. And they did show ‘100rs cb will be credited after 48hrs’ message immediately after I made the transaction (now that message is, of course, gone).
Again please don’t believe their latest offer too, companies like these may retract the new upi offer after your transaction is done, and refuse to give you cb. Instead, use GPay, you will at least get 20Rs cb, and maybe a Bastar/Nainital/Kochi/Gaya ticket.
