May take anywhere from 5-15 days depending on your luck(hdfc system is not that reliable for non-hdfc customers cc applications). Offer should last at least till oct end in my opinion as Diwali festival sale period still remaining in Nov.

I mistakenly applied With 4 applications. 1 completed successfully, status is showing blank and 3 which I left incomplete till “choosing the credit card and apply” option, shows me “under review”. In my opinion, to create free publicity and buzz, HDFC announced this scheme. Most of the applications will get declined stating one or other reason. Their site is buggy, processes are third class and their people are useless. They didn’t improve from RBI ban. Will escalate my case to RBI if they reject my card (at last stage). Only good thing is their escalation is very good, just like SBI, HDFC also provide next escalation email.

I would suggest everyone to email them and get a confirmation if your card is LTF so in future you have some evidence to show them in case they charge annual fee. I emailed them and they informed me my card is converted to LTF even though I didn’t spend 30K yet for moneyback CC. The main criteria for LTF was to complete CC application digitally without any HDFC staff’s help but people say it is spend based criteria.
