If anyone wants these clear trip vouchers, plz PM me. They are of no use as it needs round trip for one redemption. Waste offer I guess.

Deal Subedar Deal Subedar

Cleartrip vouchers would be waste. HSBC issues 2*1000 which are valid on round trip. So, discount of 1000 on round trip is not something which is very useful.

How about below point? This will work on AmazonPay GCs as well?

I can’t comment on which bank provides better services amongst HDFC & HSBC since I haven’t used much of their services as such. All I’ve used is credit cards of both banks and contacted customer service of both banks a couple of times. And here are my observations:

1. Connecting to customer care agent over call is easier in HSBC, maybe because very less customer base. However, HDFC is that bad. If HSBC took 3 mins on IVR then HDFC took 4 mins. That’s it.

2. Netbanking UI in both banks is pathetic. HSBC is worse among these two. Recently HSBC has upgraded their UI, but it lacks certain basic things. HDFC is slightly better in terms of options provided in netbanking. But UI-wise, HDFC needs some good work.

3. Both banks are same on reversing charges. Like late fee or interest fee. Both banks have usually reversed those charges for me in the first call itself without any issues. However, for some reason, HSBC does NOT reverse the GST charged on service charges or penalty or interest. I’ve seen this in no other bank. Almost all banks also reverse GST while reversing any charges. And it should be that way only. If no service charges paid at all, then GST on those service charges don’t even come into question. But don’t know why HSBC doesn’t reverse that.

So neither HSBC or HDFC has provided me exceptional service as such. However, credit cards of HDFC have a slight edge over HSBC in offering better value & offers to me, even at the basic level.

I think u haven’t tried hsb’s new credit card app, its better. You dont have to call now. Just drop an email via app itselves and they will call and resolve.

Gst many banks dont reverse. Its banks’ discretion.

Hdfc cc guys many a times have no knowledge of offers and even basic things. You call them and they are clueless.
