As you all know we celebrate our Independence Day, when we as a nation were free from those who tried to rule us!
This Wednesday marks 72 years of our independence officially #ProudIndian!
We still in our day-to-day lives are struggling, be it with finances, education, rozi-roti, jobs, travelling, etc., we are still in a way slaves or dependent on so many things.. but thinking back there are also so many things that have set us free!
This Independence week we want to know what are the things you as individuals have been set free from.. it can be anything from finishing school and college and getting freedom from certain subjects, switching jobs to get more financial and boss-friendly freedom, moving into your own place, travelling abroad, maybe getting a bike/car and getting freedom from the daily hassles of public transport.
We will reward 3 Random Dimers 100 dimes each by 16th August for sharing their Freedom Stories
Freedom from 200₹/GB
No job any more. So I’m free from jobs. Want to be free from life also. But it’s extremely hard.
no fpd has no freedom
When i was born i got freedom to move and play but Studies stolen my freedom…
When i completed my school i got freedom to enjoy my life, again college studies stoled it.
When i completed my college,i got freedom to enjoy with friends, but job stoled it,
Now i am bachelor and enjoying life freely and my family is forcing me to get married to lose my freeedom again..
Again this journey will continue in future till life ends this is the Real truth of life..
So Freedom is not the endpoint but its a start point for other struggle which continues on and on..will never end… 🤐 🤒
Happy Independence Day to all dimers and Whole Admin team of DesiDime..
@TrickyTimer
Okay here it comes then….
Independence is something we got by virtue but we earn with our hard work and effort
I was never Independent from the time of birth, finishing school even during initial days during my graduation but then everything change.
My journey towards Independence began from the 2nd semester of my B-Tech. It’s like start of a new revolution. The world i’ve never seen like before.
I was always confined with in my fathers wish i’ll say it’s command for me. I never had a choice to choose was always good at studies so secured quite satisfactory marks through out my life till B-tech even in all ALL India based exams. So I was forcibly compiled to select all my study areas according to my fathers choice even till last and most important decision of my career my branch selection in Engineer after securing a well deserved rank in AIEEE n IIT. i Joined NITC under my fathers wish in Civil the branch i never liked ever and honestly it’s a extremely bad decision but one good outcome was my Independence.
And then i was finally completely Independent far far away from home living first time after 15 years it’s a life changing experience.
I Felt like i was alive.
Never ever felt so in my life but the cost of Independence/freedom was also high i was a rebellion first time in life but as all teenagers do i also did many mistakes during that i started bunking classless, funking papers, tried smoking drinking n everything so first time in life i got carried away with overwhelming taste of Independence and was getting below average anyhow i completed my Engineering manged with a decent percentage and came back home empty handed without any job but with hell lots of experience .
I’ve no regrets of whole Engineering life kind of experience.
After coming back home i dropped a year prepared for GATE got qualified with decent mark and joined post graduatio.
Now here i’ll say I’m fully Independent[ Cause i acquired life lesson of bad habits as well as my freedom of choice]
TLDR ; Yeahhhhhhh I am Independent
Independence i got by virtue of birth but acquired by wisdom
Iam toooo independent
My first freedom was freedom of speech my parents provided me with that whatever i want i had right to speak then i got freedom of choice whatever i like i can choose that…Then the main freedom i got that was freedom from tution in class 3rd i felt happy because that tution teacher use to punish me and i got freedom from him due to the second freedom which i was given freedom of choice….Next i got freedom from telugu iam a rajasthani so learning telugu was a biggest problem for me finally i managed to get 83 out of 100 in telugu in 10th and finished with 93% overall…..then i got freedom from school and withit came freedom from uniform….the most bad freedom i got was freedom from girls the college i studied in was boys college saddest freedom for me…then i got freedom from tension by taking commerce and afterwards i got tension back by pursuing ca then i got freedom from career thoughts after acheiving it then when i thought after completing ca that iam now completely free then life started i was fine without responsibilities with freedom from marriage but when i married all freedom which i got was taken back my freedom of speech(obviously when wife is front who gets freedom of speech)freedom of choice,i got a tution teacher i.e my boss, the company i joined in is completely telugu one so again i was forced to learn telugu…only one happy freedom which was taken back was freedom from girls now i was free to have girls with me,then freedom from uniform was also taken back i was asked to report in a partocular uniform….all freedom which i got was gone thats the rule of life WHEN U HAVE SOMETHING ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS U CAN BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY NOTHING IS PERMANENT…I also got freedom from searching deals as others got which is not yet taken thanks to dd……i got another dirty freedom from my children my girl married and my boy gone other place for business with his wife….Now iam free from everything free from job free from work before i use to search for free time now i have to search for using time
Freedom from diapers was one major achievement..
Freedom from schooling was another major achievement..
Freedom from societal pressure of achieving 90% in board exams was another achievement..
Freedom from completing engineering was another major achievement..
Freedom from routine office life was another major achievement..
And then Marriage happened..
Moral of the story: Every story does not have a happy ending..
I had a freedom to select my ug course, job ,etc even though I am a girl . I freely selected my life partner took…
I am independent.
That’s it.
Happy Independence Day to all.
My freedom story is I don’t like coaching class. But my family members send me coaching and I have also paid full fees. I have changed centre to nearby from far. But goes only ten days. I believe in self study. I wanted to freedom from coaching class. Then I told my feelings to my parents that I don’t like coaching class they only teach from book which I got from that coaching. They don’t explain, my time and efforts both were wasting. They understands. Then I never go there again asks for refund the fee. But they refused. That money is wasted but I got freedom from coaching class.
