This tv is same model of tcl P2MUS which is sold on Amazon prime day 2 years back..
The tcl has a platform called percee tv, more than 50 TV’s worldwide use the same software with different brand names…
In India, Sanyo, bpl official Android TV’s use the same platform…
The panel used in this iffalcon is a 8 bit + frc panel which is minimum required for hdr.. Without frame rate control hdr is not possible for a 8 bit panel.. But don’t expect hdr to be best..

This tv will get Android oreo update if it ships with nougat. And also be assured this tv will also get Android Pie update..

Hello Friends, I had ordered it with 6000 discount and opted for CRT replace. Now they brought the TV for delivery and they wanted to check CRT tv.
My CRT works fine as i use it daily, but the person has to take 1 minutes Video and upload it. When taking video the screen flickers and so he said we can not accept it and i will have to pay 6500 if i want tv without replacement. I said no and he cancelled my order..
Really sad that i lost best deal. I had opted for HDFC CC no cost emi so had got (4000 + 1500 discount as well)
Pls post pics of your crt tv. What things do they check before taking it. My old crt tv only has antenna port , it does not have av port to connect settop box.

When taking a video of the CRT TV, fhe flicker is caused by two things:
1. A difference in the scanning frequency between the TV and the camera
2. A difference in the way the phosphor dots are perceived between the human eye and the camera’s image sensor
You may either see rolling bars or flickering depending upon the frame rate of the camera and the scanning frequency of the TV, inspite of a TV being perfectly in operative condition.
So basically if pickup guy says no ,its NO ,irrespective of his idiocy .
Seems exchange conditions also changed . Earlier it was mentioned working / non working CRT, just that it should not be broken
When delivery guy came to pick my CRT, he refused to take it saying , how come this CRT is worth 6500, he called his head office took half an hour and then delivered my item and picked up this tv.
The peon or assistant in an office feels that he is the official like minister, manager or ceo himself.
When you talk of thousands in front of a guy who never seen a bundle of notes, it is unbelievable. Similar is the story of these delivery guys. They are better off delivering milk pouches, news papers, hand bills etc
Unfit for high end items delivery and can’t even read the description of handling the packages. Hence you get many spoiled packages. They don’t even understand the meaning of the symbols on the packages.
It is the mistake of the supervisor to whom he is reporting, that such and such exchanges are there, only you are to stick to what is told to you and no need to poke your nose into the exchange value or the business in the activity.
My tv is very old. It does not even have AV mode ,only antenna.
And nowadays doordarshan also does not come in this mode. Govt had discontinued RF signal. For doordarshan also u need settop box.
Worried that will the delivery guy accept it or not after all this new norms of making video of return tv.

he opened the box and made me verify if there is any damage.
then when he saw there’s exchange of 6500 CRT tv they took back the opened box tv and rescheduled the delivery to 20th may.
becuase the exchange was not showing in their device.

What the hell is happening with flipkart? Is this some kind of scam, first give discount on exchange and then at delivery time reject the exchange TV for any stupid reason.
I mean any crt TV will show flickering when you make video on mobile. I understand taking precaution when checking but these kind of reasons make no sense.
any tv will appear different on video or photo they just need reason to reject the exchange offers
BTW people can complaint on twitter if its being rejected for small matters

Yes, nowadays exchange offers are very stringent. Recently had opted for exchange of fully automatic whirlpool machine of big capacity in working condition, however he rejected saying it is slightly rusted near the leg support of the machine.
Same with Amazon, they rejected exchange of On5 for slight color that got peeled off, due to normal wear and tear, and I was having “water dewdrop” wallpaper, which he mistook for a screen damage. Before me giving him a reason he left and cancelled my order. Tried calling after he left, however he said he’s riding, will call back & inform, which he never did.
Amazon support could only suggest me to place a fresh new order

Even for the 14" TVs the repair shop guys are quoting 1.5k
Strangely they have quoted the same price for a 21" CRT TV too. Maybe they are trying to make the most of the opportunity they got
21" TV for 1500 seems to be very manageable task ( If not 14" TV for 400/500 )
May be if you are living in small towns you can get these for a cheaper price
So if u had already purchased and changed the delivery date to 3 days or a week later you can easily get one old tv
6400 – 1500 = 4900 benefit is not bad at all
you better arrange and exchange a crt tv for max benifit . Exchanging your phillips ll not give you much benifit . Dont pay more thn 1000 for crt tv .

In 40k range no match to vu premium TV
even it can easily compete with Samsung new launch 6100 series
Reason-
upscaler of vu is best in market in budget range, it can even upscale 720p videos
Brightness is 450nits which is more than competitors
Contrast of premium series is amazing
Service centre are their own at most of places
However in 22k iffalcon is better deal
But brightness is 280nits and upscaler is less effective
