Jio will definitely have more plans for prime members with less price and less data. There will be one for 500mb. Let’s wait and watch.

Most likely attractive plans will be for prime members because they want to lock in large user base and then build on it.

The idea was to get people to use hi speed data and get addicted then start charging. They still are offering one of the cheapest wireless rates and would counter the evil axis errr…AVOID for charging ridiculously.

As for calling, AVOID will be bound to release their stubborn stance and give access to Jio calls once Jio have tariff plans in action. Honeymoon is over, now Jio will start it’s normal service like any other provider. Why the fuss?

303 per month is still a better offer. Some months back, I was paying 250 per gb every month, rate cutters extra, call charges extra, roaming charges and many other charges. Only after Jio came, airtel started giving 500mb/day, still people are blaming Jio here.
Jio services will definitely improve after March, as the freebie eaters will move out. Jio is still good in my area with minimum 4-5 mbps in day time and above 10mbps at night

I would’ve preferred JIO if they gave 30gb without any condition (1gb/day) for 303rs/month.

What is the use of having access to those apps for free when it will suck MBs n GBs to use? If data usage towards those apps is free (not part of the 1,GB limit), then it will be a good plan for prime customers… .

Its an excellent business strategy by Mukesh Ambani, so that existing subscribers wont stop using jio after march 31st 2017….And good value for money for customers also…..good going jio….for me atleast jios calls gets connected faster than any other network, compared to other network call failure rate is less atleast here in Davangere, Karnataka, now jios speed also improved after limit of 1gb/ day.

If they find userbase is reducing with plan price , they might use tricks like some cahsbacks offers with jiomoney, ((esp UPTO 100% cb offers or BMS offer etc)) ….or some discounts if u pay for 3 months, 6 months or yearly plan.

Nobody would have noticed it but the best think I like about it is unlimited at reduced speed even after 1 gb.

These AVOID operators charge 4p/10kb after the pack is over.

Have you ever been a victim of exceeding data usage? I have paid 900 rs for like 90 mb of data for exceeding data usage.

Once I got it waived after a big fight but the next time they didn’t

There is no clarity on whether they would continue unlimited data benefits from 2-5 am with this subscription. One positive to take is they raised the bar by increasing the speeds from 128 kbps to at least 256 kbps under FUP.

Do u need to recharge every month or u can skip some recharges and do not use data in that month, will ur sim continue getting incoming calls (as it happen with other mobile operators)??

Bottom line 303 or 349/month is a gr8 offer for anyone who gets proper 44 network in thier area

But for many many ppl like me jio is slower than 2g that too only when it connects

Personally the joy of getting jio sim lasted less than a week as in my home the speed was pathetic and in my office tower not nearby so 1point signal strength

I am paying 800 per month for airtel broadband and get 15 gb data at 2 mbps and landline with unlimited calling.

Can i buy JioFi wifi device and pay 303 per month for data and unlimited voice? This way i can surrender airtel broadband and save 800 – 300 = 500 per month. Any suggestions?

Also jio voice calls can be made from any one connected phone or all wifi connected phones and does it need to be 4g phone to make jio voice call?

Instead of this useless crap I will rather recharge with 299 plan which gives 2 Gb per day for 21 days along with all other benefits.

The Math ( please correct me If I go wrong) . Lets assume 50 million people leave. 50 million people remain and sign up for The Prime membership. That works out to an initial 99 * 50 million income in March ( 4950 million or 4.95 billion Rupees in March). This is followed by 303 * 50 million every month till March 2018 this works out to 303*50*12 = 182 billion Rupees income over the next one year.

I’m just waiting for this to start. One the subscribers reduce the speed goes up and latency goes down. Then I’ll really get addicted.

If you exceed your daily limit, you pay for extra data. My plan is to keep an MTNL SIM in slot 2 and use their data plans. ( e.g. pay 3999 get 80GB valid for 1 year)

Very soon operators will start slashing prices. The War will kill one or two operators and then the rest will hike prices……

Network coverage is unreliable, cannot depend on its calling + certain areas in Delhi/NCR where there is no coverage at all…
Would rather pay 100 extra and get less data, but ensure that it works…..

If you’re gonna use jio for calling and night unlimited data only then don’t opt for prime simply recharge for 149 a month.

I use 5gb data per night + 1gb in a day . 6gb for 1 day .
6*30 is 180gb
Charge is 300 RS only + 99 ONE TIME..
I WONDER WHY PEOPLE ARE STILL CRYING .. DAMN .

So cost for 12 months will be 99+303*12
This is costly my monthly expenditure was 150-200 before jio. Now i have to invest 100 INR feels like Avoid group policy

Time to say to goodbye to jio is nearby. I thought they will extend the offer and give less data for Apr – Jun before going fullstream. Network still sucks. The main problem is reception of signals. I stay in third floor and speed is good. But when I come to parking it does show signal, but I cannot browse with 10 KB. Seems some tower in Bangalore are too bad. I can safely bet on Airtel with samoewhat more price offer.

Tbh it’s costly as compared to Jio standards. They creative hype that still reminds “In budget if everyone” . The monthly expenditure of every user is not rs.300. Mostly spends less than rs.300 every month.

Even if we consider plans as good, network is still problem, traveling between cities lead to no network. From haryana to punjab and you’ve disconnection most of the time which means still a lot of work to do to stabilize the network and speee is still 3g not 4g.
Only few cities has 4g speed rest are still 3g and less thab 3g.
Now it’s not free anymore then let’s see how it’ll affect the market because not everybody is going to spend 300 rs per month if they’re not able to dial numbers properly with 3g speeds.

If Jio wifi can be used by whole family for internet/free calls, then not so bad plan even for 300 rs/month. Can someone confirm that using same Jio WiFi we can make calls from 2 separate non 4g mobiles?
