Finally got this card offer today. Strictly Maintained Zero balance in savings account and Just showed interest on their credit card on January.

Millennia & Classic are basically same with only difference being the Free Road Side Assistance(RSA) worth ₹1,399. Select card has more insurance protection plans, buy one get one offer on movie tickets of up to ₹250 per ticket twice every month & airport lounge access. If not interested in movie ticket offer & already have lounge access on other cards then basically no difference between millennia, classic & select variant(if not interested in golf then even wealth card has not much better features).
What are the reward redemption options?

@AJ89 @Swagger18 I received my first IDFC cc statement generated on 24th feb. I spend 20k+ I found that they didn’t give any reward point for wallet uploads in payzapp and supr daily and offline transactions. So got only 6X rp.

I have IDFC Select Credit Card and the statement got generated on 24th Feb and here are a few things that I would like to clarify:
1. 10X reward points are provided on (Total Purchases -20000). So if you are going to make a statement of Rs.1Lack a month then for Rs.80,000 you will get 10X rewards and for Rs.20,000, the respective 6X or 3X
2. I did only online transaction with Snapay, Payu, Payzapp and Paytm.
For all the above I got 6X reward points.
Regarding the remaining 4X ( Yeah the 10X mean 4/7X remaining pointsnnot additional 10X): What I saw was that Rs.40 worth of Rewards points were missing which amounts of Rs.1000 worth of transaction for which I didn’t received remaining 4X.
In my statement Paytm was the only merchant which had Rs.1000 charge so what I can suspect is For PayTm we don’t get 10X rewards. Its weird though as if it was for wallet I shouldn’t have got points for Payzapp transaction, but that was not the case. So to be sure assume that PayTm Transactions only give 6X reward points.
3. Redemption of Reward points is quite straightforward and easy. While doing any online purchase check Pay with Points and enter otp and submit. In a few days (2-3) you will get statement credit for the amount.(So first the amount will be charged and then a reversal kind off). Do note that such reversals most probably will not count as a payment for previous statement bill generation so Pay the full amount no matter what.

I guess none of the mentioned card gives point for Wallet transactions. Thats where it helps as it gives atleast 1.5 and at max 2.5% CB.
Its always about your usage. Mine is mostly on “Other Spends” criteria (and that too ~1Lack a month) so that’s where it helps.
I do have axis bamk ace cars for offline transactions and Gpay bills transactions, but anything else goes on IDFC card from now on. The best card you mentioned is HDFC Infinia but.if your.most of the transaction comes under wallet and other miscellaneous spends then IDFC card can beat them (because 1) No minimum amount spend condition on card (Ace and Infinia both have in default cases) 2) Reward points can directly be added as statement credit. (which I guess ACE also does) )
All in all, its all about your usage patterns that will tell you which card can be the best for you. (In most cases a mix of some will be the answer, like for me currently its AmazonICICI for amazon transaction (No tension of annual spends), ACE (for Bill payments and offline), and IDFC CC (for wallet and other spends)

Just an update. 2 or 3 days ago received a mail that the Interest Rate was reduced to 2 % pm on a monthly basis when i got the card it was 35.88 per annum% . I guess IDFC is doing a great job . Something for other cc issuers to learn from .

They wont consider insurance payments for 10x rewards I believe. But do they consider for 6x at least or is it no rewards for insurance payments completely?
