I got sms for pre approved classic card. If I dont apply and wair,will there be a chance to get offer for pre approved select card?

Had registered interest or joined waitlist or whatever it’s called when this first showed up, but always got the message saying no offers available.

Few days back got an SMS saying I’m eligible for IDFC Select, checked the offer and it was some 3.5+ L limit and 9 % interest. Submitted the online application, on last Saturday. Sunday got call from their agent asking whether they can come for address verification that too to my office address 😝. Anyway said that’s not possible, and later same say got call for house address verification. I was out and he said will come the next day. After that no update, then yesterday ie Tuesday got SMS saying that application has been received and it’s being processed.

Today just now got an SMS saying card has been approved, logged into the mobile app and I could see the card details as well. 😅

No physical doc collection or verification at all. 😬 But IDFC is my salary account so that might have helped.

Anyone getting his IDFC CCs bills tracked via Mail (not sms) using Cred Protect ? I am not getting it tracked even though I have setup the cred protect (happening only for idfc cc) !

for preapproved cards also they are again asking job and income details, so will they come for address verification ?

Finally gave up waiting for wealth card and got the pre approved select variant.

Site was showing ‘pin code not servicable’, on calling customer care, they said i am not eligible as pin code is not serviceble and on enquirring with customer care on email about applying directly on branch, they said i cant due to same reason. Applied thru the link today and got it approved instantly and now showing in the app. Delivery shows in 5 days.

I got the Select few days ago…Got 3.46L limit… Would have loved to get the Wealth but may have to wait a long time for that…

Hi for anyone holding Wealth variant – does anyone know how the birthday benefit is calculated if the spends in the month are already > 20k. Couldn’t find in T&C.

Normally for online spends the calculation is 6x (=1.5%) and then 4x bonus is calculated for total spends in the month > 20k. So if you spend 50k in a month online, you will already get 6x and then 4x for 30k (50k minus 20k).

If I have already crossed 20k for the month before the birthday, on the birthday is the calculation 10x + 4x bonus for spends > 20k (=14x, which is 3.5%)? Or just 10x and no more.

If anyone has experienced please advise. Thanks.

finally got offer for wealth card

card delivered in a black envelope without those useless pamphlets and literature.the packing is simple yet still makes you feel good. Who else has been issued wealth card apart from OP. I think the statement date is 17th for all as it is printed generic on the inner envelope itself and not user specific

Are the 10x points added later on? My cc bill is 87k, but just got 2800 points, should have been 10x on 67k which itself is 6700 points.
