Free Screen Replacement Guarantee
Offer period, Place & Outlet Coverage 20 Dec 2019-31 Dec 2020 – Valid in Pan India. Offer shall be available on purchase of products from all general trade & modern trade outlets & also from any other e-commerce portals (“Offline Outlets & Online Outlets”).
Eligibility Criteria
Customer needs to purchase the new Product during the Offer period and activate on or before their respective Offer Periods, failing which the customer shall not be eligible for the offer.
This One Time Free Screen Replacement can be availed only if the Product screen is broken for any reasons whatsoever. Scratches on the screen or damage due to liquids/fluids shall not fall under this offer. To qualify the screen as damaged shall be subject to the discretion of the LG authorized service centers.
Offer shall be applicable only on fresh Product(s) purchased during the Offer Period. Demo units sold to customers or any bulk sale to corporate or any other institute or individual shall not be eligible for this Offer.

Verification of the documents
Before availing the Offer, customer will be required to handover a copy of the invoice to the authorized service center, issued by the respective Online or Offline Outlet at the time of purchase of the Product and produce the original invoice along with the same for verification.
In case any documents/invoice are prima facie found to be false & fabricated or the original invoice is either lost or torn, customer shall not be eligible for the Offer and the same shall stand forfeited and no claims shall be entertained in this regard.
Forfeiture clause ,For One time screen replacement offer –
In case the customer activates the product after the Offer Period he/she shall not be eligible for the offer.

To all those who haven’t got lg adapter as of now ;It will be available from Nov 1 in stores. Confirmed in Gurugram sec 14 outlet after having a chat with Customer Support.
Meanwhile my moto 15w 3.0 charger is charging speed of @ 1%/min.
That means 30% in half an hour.
While lg 16.4w charges @ 33% in 30mins.
No heating in this charger also but will buy it as soon as it is available.

Any one able to register for free display replacement
Flipkart replacement is a joke, they rejected my replacement 3 times for display issue.
and had talk with some youtubers and also in reddit what they said is also due to metal sides of the phone the tingling will happen due to no proper charger or mistake in grounding wiring at your home…
and i am using my old 24 watts charger which qualcomm 3.0 certified and also tried with old redmi 5v 1a charger which 10 watts even in that too same tingling/issues at the sides when we touch or rub while in charge..
but when phone connected to laptop no tingling/ buzzing issue totally normal but when laptop is in charge it happens i guess this is because of it is connected to our home switches.. and i also tried at different location same similar problems.. today morning i tried with computer cpu which is connected to one of our switches in that normal no tingling issues at all in the sides.. but in laptop when connected to charging with our home switches tingling issue is there but with cpu is also connected with same switches in our home its not happening i m so confused. but when phone is connected to laptop, laptop charging is switched off it shows normal and when laptop charging is switched on tingling issue again. same with cpu connected to our switch but in that no issue while phone connected via usb.
one i should buy and check lg charger and two if still problem exists i have go with electrician or i got a defective piece..
pls guys check with ur phones for tingling/ buzzing issues at the sides of the phone while in charge. placing the phone in flat surface so one can observe more and easily tingling/buzzing with touching or rubbing very very slightly at the sides with ur fingers while in charge. if you hold the phone firmly when phone is in hand or placed in flat surface u wont observe tingling/buzzing issue at the sides. only when not holding firmly at any scenarios u feel that issue…
but i told them to put it on a hold for replacement checks because everything is good only this issue and today i am gonna check at another place to charge at my friends house he is got one plus 7t i m gonna check with him today and also his sockets and switches at his home will see i hope this will not be an issue..

Can somebody post step by step guide to register for screen replacement offer.
As far as I understand, T&C tell about product activation and not direct for product registration. Phone activates as soon as you switch on the phone and connect to network, just like an iphone. As it connects to LG network and prompts you for a software update. so in my opinion no separate registration is mandatory(otherwise would have been mentioned clearly in T&C). Invoice itself is the purchase of proof between the offer duration.

You can register your product after creating an LG account on https://www.lg....in → Click on the User icon in top-left and click Sign In / Sign Up (This is the link shared in this thread many times, but the link would keep expiring because it contains an authorizekey – the same link can be accessed using the steps above).
Once you create an LG account and login, there is a link to register the product.
I want to replace my screen of LG G8X purchased in October 20 but the service center executive said it would cost 7000 for replacement. Pls suggest me what is the procedure to convince them for free replacement. I visited service center after 4 days they returned my mobile and said screen replacement would cost 7500.
I had not registered for this free screen replacement offer. Is there any way to get cracked screen replaced?
