That post is of mine only and created new here. So,that everyone can take a look.
Should i edit that post?
If you want?

yes you have given me suggestion and i added there u posted suggestion before creating it’s thread so it’s a repost

You have not even added suggestions there(earlier).
AFAIK,I was helping there. But you are taking in a wrong way!
Let admin to decide now,(all those who have suggested, have seen that post was mine only, therefore this should not be called as Repost).

yes i have added later because u given good suggestion afaik it will be merged https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

I don’t think it should be merged,If it’s merged, then I think giving suggestions to others,is not at all good. And will not suggest next time.
And everytime,I gives suggestions and help others.
#Now also you are taking a wrong way.
Indirectly you are saying all other post related to this deal should be merged https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_evil.gif
And even this also http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
We will create new topic and you will add suggestions to your post #Wao
@admin @Nigel

if it’s the case create new thread for each and every item i don’t mind

It’s a non isi product, not a good quality, I had purchased one in November, if you are not on a tight budget avoid it. I have discarded it and gone back to my old stove.

please give some good suggestion from main link
http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...

Avoid Padmini if the product is not ISI. Gas stove is long term investment so go for good brands with isi.

padmini is a ISI Mark brand only
Take a look at this.

Not every padmini gas stove is ISI, and I own this model so can say this with confidence..

Bro brand itself has an ISI Mark, not a product, may be you got a FAKE one https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

It’s padmini model being discussed and purchased from paytm. Padmini has both ISI and non isi gas stoves.

Thanks for update, it better to avoid Padmini stuff, buy Sunflame or Prestige.

I did some more research and found that none of the toughend glass stove is ISI certified.. and i did call prestige customer care and even they told me that there wouldn’t be any ISI certification mark on the toughened glass top.. all other products are certified except the glass top gas stove.. so safety wise, it really does not matter which brand you are buying.
I hope the product is good..

I was wondering why no certification for toughened glass stove, got answers in amazon review section

1) No Toughened glass top cooktop in India is ISI marked. It is simply because the BIS does not have a standard for this class of products. Any one claiming to have isi on Glass cooktop is not being truthful.
But that does not mean our products are even a bit inferior to any Isi marked products. We take pride in our quality.

2) this stove is not isi/bis marked and as such, you can use it only in your show case. inspectors from gas agencies visit your house every year and if they find this stove in your house, your gas connection would be cancelled. further, the sellers have clearly stated that they will not take it back. i have bought many items from the american amazon.com and i have now realized how stupid the administrators of amazon india are,in allowing a product such as these on their list. i could as well have bought one second hand gas stove from the flea market with an isi seal for rupees 500. amazon sucks.it is my heart felt wish that the government of india introduces isi/bis certification on online stores so that amazon.in would be booted out of existence. i have decided not to buy anything more from either amazon.com or amazon.in. they are not worth their salt. i strongly advice you to buy a gas stove either from your gas distributor or from a local petty dealer who knows what he is doing. never ever buy from these foreign online shop

3) The manufacturer says,* “No Toughened glass top cooktop in India is ISI marked” . That means all the toughened glass top cooktops sold by Amazon India are not approved by BIS WHEREAS, *the oil companies distributing cooking gas require that we use only BIS approved gas stoves. This means that Amazon India is purging gas stoves that are unauthorized for use in Indian kitchens. Simply put, we can lose our gas connections, let alone the subsidies given to us by the gas companies because of using stoves sold by Amazon. So, these are my pointed questions: 1. If the gas authorities stop supplying gas because of my using Amazon bought gas stove, will amazon come to my rescue?(the petty shop owners and the gas distributors have preemptively come to our rescue by selling only ISI marked stoves) 2. To the best of my knowledge and belief, the petty shops in my neighbourhood as well as the gas distributors sell only ISI marked gas stoves. So are not these local dealers smarter than the executives of the multinational, multibillion dollars Amazon people who are selling worthless unauthorized stoves? 3.If BIS does not have a standard for these products (as stated by the manufacturer) and if we are required by law to use only BIS stamped gas stoves, don’t the petty gas stove dealers and the gas distributors have a better understanding of law and ethics than the Amazon that is erring in company with the manufactures selling unauthorized goods? 4.Cylinder blasts frequently happen in india and in order to minimize these, the Government has set in the BIS and its ISI mark and the manufacturer has the audacity to admit that it is not following this requirement and Amazon India has the stupidity to list these products that have not passed any required safety inspection. And so, the question is: Is money more important to amazon than the concern for public safety? (I am contrasting this attitude to the petty shop owners and the gas distributors who sell only ISI marked stoves.) Or, is it the truth that Amazon thinks that it is above the law?

Thanks for this very important update. I purchased Padmini 4 Burner Jalwa last year but completely forgot about this ISI thing. But set it up only last month and have been using it without any issues so far. Hope everything goes fine.

BTW, is getting certified by ISI a very difficult thing? Is not everything easy here when you use the right influence? https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

Practical problem -

My parents bought glass top gas stove, while buying seller used tough brass burner and hammered on the glass saying it cant be break even your pot get dropped on glass. Its UNBREAKABLE he claimed. But while using one day when stove was hot because of being used, my mom kept normal (not hot) pot in the middle space and shocking the glass got broken (infact cracked like melt and had almost U shape). So in the normal/cold condition the glass seem tough but practically its not, so be cautious.

Later, The stove has been thrown out immediately.
