Technically they can’t take legal action, as you have paid money and they delivered it. If you have ordered only 1 phone, they will not pressure for a return and you can say you have already opened the mobile.

In case of people ordering large quantities of mobiles, they can pursue legal action, as that violates Amazon Terms n Conditions.

Where did u get this information from? I got Cancellation email and within an hour got phone delivered, didn’t get any email for pickup/return … even if I get now, would ignore it, they can’t force me to return.

Amazon has offered “Returns with zero questions” till now, so many times better compared to flipkart.
If they really want the return for this one specific thing, it would be seriously obscene to reject it for their services till date

I was out whole day yesterday. somehow managed to book one on 2G. It was showing shipping now just after few hrs but they cancelled it today afternoon.

Must say I was lucky i was preoccupied with other works otherwise would have wasted entire day on this.

Had a long chat with escalation team today in the evening. So what hinted was this was a deliberate attempt made by a person/organisation to defame amazon by putting some bug in their website. Might be an insider or someone from rival company.

Since it was sunday and festive season they dint realise abt the loot till 3 hrs ( It shows how absent minded their operations team is).

By the time they saw all the damage was done. And slowly they started cancelling orders and called back the ones shipped.

Even i was sad after seeing cancellaton msg but the day ppl reacted is very unfair. Amazon has always fulfilled their promises. I received 5-6 items in the 1 Rs treasure hunt and all of them were delivered very quickly.

Be it small company or a big one mistake do happen and i guess coz of lathargic operations and coding team who coulnt identify the bug entire CC agents had to face the wrath of angry customers.

And to compensate that amazon immediately gave a price cut of 1K on moto G turbo. If u really want to buy it’s still a good price after bank CBs. but dont cry over one mistake of amazon.

And I guess most of u have ordered 5-6 phones for big bro,younger bro, mom,dad, back up phone, uncle,aunty,padosi ke liye gift etc.
If u really expect amazon to fulfill all the orders then they have to literally face loss in tens of crores for 1 small error.

If promo code was really shown in amazons website then even i’d have bombarded CC and escalation team but since there was no official word abt this sale only thing i could ask was a faster refund to the bank.

I ordered with Single day delivery and prepaid order. but product got cancelled..

And wondering how @kshiv8705468 got the code. I searched for d code in google before purchasing and sorted by time gave DD forum the first page to display the code before any other website. Dont know how he obtained the code before anyone else. He was a cadet till yesterday and with 1 thread his karma shot up. Correct me if i Am being too suspicious on OP that he might be behind this entire bug episode.

CC person has told that code was circulated around online forums and from then the rate of orders shot up( I acted as if i never knew any of those forums)
