I am also getting the card mostly for that Show-off part 
& also for the 1% Foreign Currency Markup too as I have to do lots of transactions in other currencies & no credit card in India provides such low Markup charges…The best we can get is 1.75% from NO-Bank & then 2% from HDFC High end cards…And it’s Free so…………….

I will be telling people that, only like 1000 Indians got this card & I’m one of them… Since most people are not aware about this card, they would easily believe too…

I already have that…Got almost 1.5 months ago without having to do any KYC as I’m an existing IDFC customer & also posted unboxing photos of that card in a related thread…
But buying on foreign sites are always better using a Credit Card as the refund comes within just 3-5 working days while it takes almost 10-12 days for a Prepaid Card…Plus I don’t have to pay immediately after the purchase if I use a CC…Credit cards also have much better Fraud Prevention & chargeback facilities on them (if something goes wrong) compared to Debit/prepaid cards where the money gets debited immediately from the attached Savings Account…

DCB Niyo Global card is a Forex card & needs PASSPORT to apply which many of us don’t have…I already tried to apply for that card in the past but they won’t let me apply until I have a Passport…All Forex cards need passport to apply…
I don’t want to say this again & again…I already wrote this several times in other threads that I DON’T GIVE A DAMN about reward points...I never did…I’m only interested in the 1% Foreign Currency markup on this card which no other Credit card provides in India…I have to do a lot of International transactions on daily basis for myself & for my business purposes…
It’s NOT mandatory that everyone will have the same requirements for something…

Seems like OneCard guys only giving the cards to people who will never use it or throw it away after a few uses…They won’t give the card to people who really need it but they will give their cards who will either never use it or not at all interested in getting it…It’s the same for other credit card companies also…They give cards to people who don’t want them & don’t give to people who want them…

These OneCard guys were not replying to me even after sending them like 4-5 E-mails…Yesterday I sent them another email from my official E-Mail ID & they sent me this reply today below…I don’t know why they would not reply to emails from free email services…I sent them 4-5 emails from G-Mail & they never cared to reply…And when I sent them email from my company email, they are replying back the very next day lol…Even lacs of big/biggest companies worldwide use G-Mail because it’s way more convenient than most of the paid email services…I also mentioned in the email that I mainly need the card for the 1% Forex Markup as I have do a lot of transactions in other currencies & my other credit cards all have the standard 3.5%+GST markup charges so if I get this card, I will be able to save much amount in my transactions…I also told them that people who are at the bottom of the waitlist are getting cards but I still didn’t even get the invite being at 12k in the waitlist & having excellent Experian & CIBIL & also an IDFC customer…

Out of the blue I got the msg today that my one card is approved I applied last week only and I must be around 1.1lakh in waitlist or was it 11 lakh don’t know because only 3-4k people were behind me when I last checked
Just sent an email to FPL Tech’s CEO from my official email id keeping OneCard support emails in the email CC…Now I will see how they can not respond…

the first point about 1% markup fees ,,well there is not even that one percent markup fees on the niyo card
are there any benefits to the card of any post that explains the benefits.
I have this card pre approved but not interested to take this.
No benefit other than showing off a metal card & if you do more than 4-5k of international transactions in a year.

If you are talking to me, then I live in Tier 1 city Kolkata & still got the card only after escalating to their CEO…They manually approve applications from their back-end…The waitlist is just for external show-off…People got cards who were at like 100k-120k in the waitlist…It’s Random what they told to me last on twitter…
