The registration for Jio GigaFiber starts August 15.will be launched in metros and around top tier 1 and 2 cities.Jio GigaFiber is expected to disrupt the broadband market by offering the service at 50% price of those offered by competitors. Currently, above 100 GB of broadband data pack at 100 Mbps speed is offered by cable operators for Rs 700-1000 per month. They also charge an addition Rs 250-300 for TV services.
Currently, JioGigaFiber preview offer is available for consumers. The preview offer provides “ultra high-speed internet up to 100Mbps for 90 days along with a monthly data quota of 100 GB and a complimentary access to a host of Jio’s premium apps.” If a user consumes 100 GB of data within a month, he/she can continue to enjoy the high-speed internet services by getting a complimentary data top-up of 40 GB via MyJio App or through Jio.com. There are no installation charges levied on the preview offer. However, a refundable security deposit of Rs.4,500 taken for the ONT device (GigaHub Home Gateway) is necessary to be paid through Debit card, Credit Card, Jio Money or PayTM.

I have a jio connection at my home and it is working extremely good
I’m getting 100Mbps UL for 800 per month, jio had installed the lines within our building last year now only flat owners needs to ask for connection they will do it in a hour. I’m not going to take the connection yet as Jio could be blocking tons of website no torrent cache restricted internet if you are pirate
true bro…they have great techinical team,the apps availability in jio phone is controlled by JIO instead of kaios…and still we no one is able to unlock jio wifi dongle and phone.

I am currently on 150 Mbps Hathaway Fibre plan with 1000 GB FUP monthly. Paid 7k for 8 months comes up to Rs 875 per month. Once Jio launches they will match and also better the existing offer. So in the end consumer will be king. Already ACT is slowly improving its plans and increasing the speed and FUP. Everyone will have to fall in line else they will lose out on customers.
