OK, some UPDATE regarding Card Flip:
I have a SimplyClick CC issued last week of July. Tried the SPRINT application process (selected CashBack card) but on entering details on first page, it is reverting to my old application and shows "generating virtual card" page referring to my old application number. So, I'm stuck till the system clears me out of the old application.
Called up CC to enquire about a card flip to CashBack card, the lady checked details and said that flip or upgrade options are currently not available for my account. I need to have 6 statements generated (6 months old card) to avail the flip/upgrade facility - even the online application may not be allowing due to that. I may apply through a fresh application through offline/agent if I do not want to wait.

If an upfront discount is availed during a promotion by SBI CARD ... will it be eligible for CASHBACK or not ... That's the added advantage of AXIS cards... they give cashback even on discounted transactions ....

Got call from executive and she said cashback card is not in market and they r not issuing and ask me other varient to choose. I said my friend got virtual card so they issuing that. But she insisted that ur friend may get different varient card after biometric update. Anyone received this type of call?
Spoke with CC they also said it is not in market yet. After 15 or 16th they will launch it.
And that is why this card will be devalued most likely within a year as sbi credit card simply can't afford giving such benefits for long. Nobody should close their axis flipkart or amazonpay card for this.
