In other words, a customer merely renewing his/her expired membership during Offer Period will not be eligible for this Offer. In addition to the foregoing, the following categories of Customers are not eligible for this Offer:
(a) Customers signing up for Prime membership via telco partnerships;
(b) Free trial Customers who are converting to an annual paid Prime membership; © Customers on a monthly plan converting to an annual paid Prime membership; and (d) Customers on quarterly plan converting to an annual paid Prime membership. (e) Customers signing up for annual paid Prime membership through Prime Young Adults offer.
The eligible Customer will receive the Shopping Reward through e-mail or SMS on the email address or mobile number registered with the such Customer’s Amazon.in account. Upon receipt of the Shopping Reward, the Customer will be required to claim/redeem the Shopping Reward by clicking on ‘Collect Offer’ provided in the said e-mail or SMS.
The use of the Shopping Reward may be governed by additional terms which will be informed to Customer.

Just buy an Airtel broadband connection Rs.999 per month plan instead (everyone needs internet these days). Prime and Hotstar VIP yearly memberships come free with that.
Last year it was 20% upto 150!
So… having to spend 750₹ rupees back then
versus having to spend 1000₹ rupees now.
If whst you say is correct (which it modtly would be).
Humble request to those who really want to make a killing on the prime day see if you can follow this strategy.
1) make a list of things you want to buy. 2 categories Necessity and discretion and stick to it.
2) keep tracking the items atleast alternate days 1 week prior to the sale and observe price movements.
3) buy immediately after the sale starts as quick as possible if it falls in your required price point. 6 hours later its gone. Next day higher price, next to next day more higher price.
4) don’t get distracted by discretionary deals. They are meant to distract.
5) keep checking prices on flipkart
6) I take prime day only for a month and on that ₹129 I save over ₹800+
Just to tell you FK had an offer from 1-7 July. Prices were actually higher. So waited it out and as soon as it got over placed the orders since I was allowed to stack multiple offers together.
