Not an issue. Even I came to know about this only a couple of days back when I emailed Seagate US technical support.

I have ordered items worth less than 10000 rupees and marked as GIFT
If you dont get the refund , mail or chat with AMAZON Cust care after 60 days of order date.
I had to do so on both my occassions ,,,BUT GOT FULL REFUND CREDITED TO MY CREDIT CARD.

Amazon does not accept paypal payments how did you use paypal?

I don’t know about paypal, but i advice you to do this – switch currency and pay in dollars instead of inr as amazon exchange rate is pretty high

Bought 1 with USD using Debit Card, didn’t get charged yet, will see the total amount after being debited.

No warranty on that HDD makes the deal very bad, As HDD most frequently gets bad,

No matter what Seagate says the warranty would be honured by Accel Frontline. SO it would be better to email then before ordering..

You are right didn’t remember that, I have marked it as a gift, but aramex has really bad service in my area, hope they deliver via some other courier.

Please do inform which courier service they will use. Next time i will also ask them to use another courier service if possible. Aramex is bad everywhere
