Good way to make sales, First create a hype and then ride on that to drive more sales. Last time they had to provide SBI offer, at 20K, now they’re just selling an year old device for 22K flat and people are going gaga . Indian consumers I tell you.

i had two options in mind, But i was sure i will not miss the deal,
1. Added giftcard worth 19990 in account and kept refreshing from 11:58, As soon as the sale began, buy now was not visible to me, It took 3 secs for me to get buy now, I clicked Buy now , then came a popup for Screen Protection or insurance, Skipped it ASAP, paid with Gift Card, it took me exactly 6 seconds to complete payment,
2. I thought of giving a second try with bank offer , i had my friends card saved in my other account already, so i asked my wife to do these steps parallely, She clicked buy now and gave CVV asap, But for first few seconds i got error like SBI payment is facing issue, Please use alternate cards, we kept trying after 10 seconds it went to OTP page in another 20 seconds my friend messaged OTP, we completed the payment, It took us 30 seconds exactly to complete this way,

To maximise the chances of getting the deal, Either use gift card or COD (Although COD takes a bit more time, as it may sometime ask to verify the mobile number), using bank offer may be risky, high chances of missing the deal.. I booked two phones in the first two minutes of sale, I gave the one i booked with Giftcard to my cousin , he was very happy that i gave him the phone with deal price, he too tried but couldn’t get it.

Fastest payment mode in the ascending order.
1. Gift card
2. COD
3. Card payments without OTP (Only VISA Cards as of now)
4. UPI or Phonepe wallet.
5. Debit or credit cards.

Also make sure you save the cards and address before the start of deal.

If you miss the deal even after doing all these steps.
Dont lose hope, Kept refreshing the page incase of mobile site or go back and click the product until you see Buy now button, There are high chances few may not go throught the payment even after adding them to cart, So those stocks may get added back to inventory. This happned in the last sale also, Even in the morning i was able to see buy now button getting enabled, In that case use COD or Gift card payment only.

use Gift Card payment , only if you are willing to take risk. else always use COD

Great phone – using since yesterday – its a bit heavy to use both screens all day.. I am using just the phone mostly and connecting the second screen when required.. feels like a good upgrade from Galaxy S9 which I bought for a similar price from Flipkart in Jan 2020.. Going for 14k in Cashify so happy with a 7000 upgrade (paid 1k to a dimer for COD address change)

One tip to those who’ve already bought it and wants get another one, you better try with an account which hasn’t already purchased previously. They might limit to 1 per account like some old sales.

Now that it’s 22k it’s not that lucrative a deal…

Moreover I got to know that the phone has battery drainage issues…
