Hello guys. Just an update . As you may know that the custom rom development screen is not existent due to the bootloader being locked and no fastboot mode available at all . the options for unlocking the full potential of our device are as below
1. Wait for LG to offer bl unlock- Doesnt seem the option which will work . Lg doesnt offer the bl unlock codes
2.Get the firehose file which is the programmer file through which you can virtually do anything with your device . Its like if we have that file we have complete control of our device. We can write our device partitions on a completely blank memory card if need be . its used by the people to unbrick the phone and stuff . but the problem is this file is with only a few chinese / russians / ukrainians and vietnamese guys as of now . And they are charging a hefty sum for that single firehose file . There is a group collection of 200 usd which is currently on at a global level for procuring the file . For indians , the telegram group admin is collecting 200 per person by paytm . if anyone is willing to donate and contribute please join link removed check update 2
PS : if u think its a scam dont join . im not forcing anyone . its the best option currently for having bl unlock and root . its a community based effort to bring the best for lg g8x . also i had to enter dot cause dd doesnt allow telegram links . also to admins and mods this is no promotion of any other channel or service .
