Firestick doesn’t need casting or mirroring and Jio TV app can be played on big TV ??? On what platform it works ?? (Sry for newbie type question )
Because Jio TV is blocked while screen mirroring/casting on big TV and nothing can be seen.(Showing error message mirroring/casting not allowed)
I haven’t seen any jio tv app on firestick, only jio movies. The hotstar app on firestick has a few tv channels that can be viewed. Some channels have their own separate apps as well..

No. Amazon is not allowing Google to cast Amazon Prime Video on Chromecast.

So after reading all this here it seems like buy both chrome cast and firestick.

It’s all fine. But azon video issue if there. Not able to cast videos directly.
YouTube works very smooth.
the BIGGEST, yes the BIGGEST problem with Chromecast is that you need a SEPARATE Wi-Fi router to make it work. NO, you cannot use your mobile hotspot while simultaneously using it for casting content. So Chromecast requires two additional devices just to make the damn thing work. But thanks, I do not need such a piece of Junk. Instead Firestick is better, and it works on my mobile hotspot.
CC does work on same mobile hotspot and does not need two devices.
