Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card Issue

Yes faced same issue for electricity bill payment in August month. Now using this card only for airtel bill payment.

Yes received same reply of 90 days

Do transaction only if correct merchant names are shown you will never face any issues

Same for me. They have a common merchant name fir recharges and utility bill payment due to which we are missing cashback on 1 category. Not sure when they will fix. Have sent an email to Nodal today. Still my Grabdeals cashback issues have not been resolved since 2 months for my flipkart axis cc. I am pretty sure this will also not get resolved.

same for me. Got the statement today. It showed 850 cashback earned while I was expecting 1300. Where to complain?

Same for me expecting around 1100 got 639 something don’t know why @scorpion

I paid ebill and merchant name was airtel and i was assured it will fetch under 25% and will loss cashback but after multiple attempt same merchant name came so did as many confirmed that next statement correct cashback was credited to them

Since the difference of CB is big. Send mail to pno and follow up.

In my case expected CB is 977 and they showed 964. So very little difference. 

Its airtel fault ,he is sending same vendor name for almost all tracsations and axis is not able to identify airtel bills or utlity bills. Even for utility its giving 25% sometimes but limited to 300 cashback Try paying only 1200 bill either airtel or utility and u should get 300 if not fixed Note: in future they may get to know and reverse he cashback from 25 to 10 for utility payments and adjust in future bills

I am always using the updated version. regularly update the app from playstore.

On first 2 r 3 months analysed and following only the below txns in recharge and bill payments category
For Recharges, Merchant name AIRTEL – i will do only Airtel recharges
For Utility, Merchant name APBLUTIL – i will do only EB payment.

if other merchant comes , i will not proceed with the txn and try again after 5 mins.

Only in the last statement period, there was no Electricity payment. So tried with one Gas cylinder booking and got APBLUTIL as merchant and got CB showing.

Pls see the below Table for reference

Merchant name showing in App after settlement decides the % of Category

AIRTEL, GURGAON, IN - 25 % CB
AIRTEL, MUMBAI, IN - 10% CB

APBLUTIL used to come before but since last 2 months all the transaction for utility bill also tracked with AIRTEL. I am using latest version of IOS app.

I have shared based on my experience. Using android.
U can see the below otp mails searched using APBLUTIL.
08Oct, 07Sep and 01Sep Txn Merchant name is APBLUTIL.

Thats the only way to deal with axis, i am also following same

U will get 25% upto 300 for this, its a bug

For me utility bil payment cashback is missing, needs to complain Airtel.

Less cb for me last month also. Nodal says i earlier got extra cb so they deducting
