Just now got the clear picture.

For 25% cashback on spends on Airtel Mobile, Broadband, WiFi and DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App, the capping is Rs.300 per month.

For 10 % cashback on spends on utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App, the capping is Rs.300 per month.

For 10% cashback on Preferred merchants is capped at Rs.500 per month (combined for all merchants).

For 1% cashback on other spends there is no limit

Total 1100 capped CB per month.

On Top of it, 500 Amazon gv joining benefit

DTH closed last year and prepaid ported 3 months ago so no airtel services for me as of now but Indeed a good value card for 500. Must have for Airtel users.

I have jio, which already gives 20% discount on any Credit card plus is about 10% cheaper.

25% on broadband is good considering jio is still not rolled out even in metros properly. But this may hit the 300 limit.

For utility bills, I use amazon voucher from axis/hdfc gyfter portal which gives 6-8% value plus some cashback. Maybe less than 10%, but still okay. This can be used virtually everywhere say ola, uber, Zomato, swiggy, big basket.

I don’t use Zomato. On swiggy, I get 10% via cred pay plus 1-2% as card rewards. Airtel axis won’t give 10% when paying via cred pay.

For big basket, I buy vouchers from axis grab deals portal, when they give 5% grab deals cashback on voucher plus 4.5% instant discount Plus 1.5% flipkart card cashback. So, this is more than 10%.

Still a good card, for people who don’t want to spend time on purchasing and checking all the vouchers and have Airtel mobile and broadband connection.

Would have been better if there was a single and higher cap of around 2500 per month in 10/25% categories.

Say for broadband, people generally take 6 months plan and need  to pay about 5k in a month. So, 300 cashback on 5k is not even 10% and then the value is lost there. With 2500 cap, there will still be 1250 available for other items.

Sorry, I meant gyfter portal, which has 5x edge rewards for Amazon voucher . I have privilege card, which can be redeemed for twice the value for Myntra Vouchers. So, basically 10% cashback as Myntra voucher. If I consider 15% discount on that, it comes to 8.5%.

Many here have commented on axis poor track record of honoring edge rewards correctly & on time.

I have been getting it correctly and within time so far. Although the time is a bit inconsistent, but within limit.

There official site says it takes 120 days (17 weeks) for additional 4x rewards. But I have got it after 5 weeks and 11 weeks. So, the time of credit seem weird. But all r within the time mentioned.

Because I didn’t get 4% on Flipkart axis and 2.5% on BOB premier via cred pay. Something regarding merchant code changes in payment. And lately even merchant named are being reported as some random number like 10024259 instead of swiggy or even bundel tech.

For me, it keeps varying in statement bundel tech, RAZ*bundel tech or that random number. And all of them only give 1.5% default cashback rate in axis Flipkart, when using cred pay and not the 4%.
