With Jio announcing reduction in plans, Airtel was forced to do the same.
Introduction of new plan (40 Mbps)
And removal of 299 add-on pack to make all plans by default unlimited..

Anyone confirm the installation and router charges? I know they use to offer free installation and router if you opt for 3/6/12 months advance rental plan of 799 above. But are doing the same for 499 plan too?
Currently having 799 plan..
Cannot find the 499 plan in airtel app..?
Try calling the call centre then …..
so i talked to customer care
those who have paid in advance for 6/12 months have advance rental system.
& those who pay monthly have monthly system (they can change plan)
in advance rental if you are a new customer than you can’t change it to monthly billing system.
Was on 3 mth ARP 799 plan.
Changed to monthly 999 plan last week.
Now changed to monthly 499 plan.
was on 649/- plan, now upgraded to 799/-
Engineer visited and upgraded Modem
Can we watch live TV in this??
Was on 999 plan with unlimited topup activated for 299 extra. However i have 300rs lifetime discount from longtime 🙂
Today deactivated 299rs topup as new 999 plan is unlimited. . I get approx 225mb speed on a 200mb connection. Happy customer. With airtel i have almost zero downtime issue which is a necessity as both me&wife need it for WFH and entertainment purpose.

Ya because of Jio we get quality services from Vodafone and Airtel for cheap 
so no option to free downgrade to 499 plan from 599 plan without extra charges for new modem. can we not use existing modem for 499 plan

What are the charges for new connection?
1000 if you take 499 plan and zero if you take 799 plan and pay for 3 months advance rental…..
