My Airtel wallet is dormat.Is there any way to reactivate mini kyc wallet without upgrading to savings account.
Does Airtel netbanking payment using credit card on Amazon upto rs 9000 works in upgraded savings account also.

This was what I received from their customer care :

In reference to your email wherein your Airtel Money Wallet is in Dormant State.

We do understand your concern.

We would like to inform you that your Airtel Money Wallet is in Dormant State and has been blocked. Thus, we request you to visit the nearest banking point with a valid Aadhaar card and PAN to upgrade your account into the Airtel Payments Bank Savings account.

You can also check the same by visiting our website www.airtel.in/store?type=paymentbank.

Further, if you still wish to reactivate Airtel Money Wallet account we request you to kindly send us a copy of your self attested identity proof (POI) with which initially you used to open your wallet with, along with a consent letter. And send it to [email protected]

P.S.: If you are sending Aadhaar card requesting you to strikeout/mask the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar number to ensure your information is safe & secure.

According to reports, the telecom operator will merge its Airtel Payments Bank with Paytm Payments Bank and in turn get a stake in the fintech company.

if that is the case then get ready for maintenance/sms/debit card charges for paytm payments bank soon if it was up to airtel they would charge for every login otp as well wink
